Had the best 1st time experience at Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics. The staff were extremely kind and took the time to explain everything that was going to happen and all the tools they were going to use. Also, the facility was kid friendly. Happy to announce we are cavity free!

Dental workers are great, office staff is terrible. Took me months to find an appointment for my 3 kids together. A few days before the appointment I get a text saying they can't verify my insurance and will cancel my appointment in 2 hours if I don't provide updated insurance information. I provide it via text and it seemed fine. Then on Monday, the day of the appointment I get a call 30 minutes before the appointment saying that they are going to cancel my appointment because THEY can't find my insurance information. I tell them I don't have it offhand and need to leave to get there at that time and I'll update it after and if they keep threatening to cancel my appointment if I don't have it before. I tell them that I'll pay out of pocket if I have to, but they insist. I spoke with the office manager and she was the worst. Rude and kept saying she was going to cancel my appointments I'd waited months for. It got more and more heated until I'd had enough and just told her we're done and to cancel my appointments and she said fine and hung up. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable.

I later call the home office since it's a bigger company and they tell me it's not even their policy to require insurance beforehand. So the Tracy office manager just made that up. The main office take my information and tell me someone will call me back. No one does. Incredible. Office staff just ruins this otherwise decent place.

The dentist, hygienist, and technicians were very professional, skilled and efficient. The front office staff leaves much to be desired. I get a voice mail the day before my appointment date to update my insurance information. I call the office that same day during regular work hours and spoke to a staff member and relayed that information. I arrive the next day 15 minutes early only to be told my appointments were cancelled because they didn’t have my insurance information. She tells me it’s my responsibility to update the office when my insurance changed. I responded by saying that’s what i did yesterday when I called the office. She started to get annoyed and told me they have no record of that conversation. Then she said that we can stand here arguing, or she can call to run my insurance. I was begrudgingly rescheduled for a hour later. I understand it was not this staff member’s fault that my information wasn’t updated the day before but I would hope she would have acted more tactfully to rectify the office’s clerical error.

Arian did a great job with my daughter. Offered to do sealants at same appt since we got there early and they had time to complete the work without having to make an additional appointment. Very patient focused and convenient ?

This is one of the worst dental care i would newer recommend anyone here. If you can avoid better to avoid. If there was a zero or negative review i would have added. This is for last 4 visits i have seen. Before we leave Doctor and front desk mentions one and for the next appointment when we visit they specify appointment was scheduled for just examination and not for the care which we had asked. They just want to charge and get all the money which the insurance is providing and your out of money as well. Better you avoid if you can. I will newer refer anyone to such a dental care clinic.

Emergency appointment, we started right on time, and everybody has been helpful. Jayla has been really helpful with my daughter who had her 1st tooth extraction. She made her feel calm from the start til the end of the procedure.
