Great visits every time! We drove 2 hours to come see him. He's straight forward with what needs to be done and what's within his capabilities. I just had all of my bottom teeth pulled and him and his assistant made me feel comfortable and felt no pain for the extractions at all!! Even now, where the teeth were don't hurt, only pain is some discomfort where the needles went in! Would recommend to anyone! Small town family feel but very clean and professional when it came time to do the work! Thank you for the relief!!!

Dr. McGaughey has been practicing for years and he is experienced. He gives me excellent care. I highly recommend him! He is honest about what needs to be done to your teeth and so trust his experience and knowledge. I like the fact that he takes a conservative approach to fixing my teeth. For example, I had some enamel filled and he fixed it without having to shave my teeth and putting on caps. Instead he used a resin to fix my teeth and it worked. It was pain- free and less intensive. He is gentle on my teeth and gave me a great cleaning. He and Becky are professional and friendly. I am happy that I found them.

He is a great guy & a great dentist as well. I would totally recommend him. All these bad comments aren’t true, he is very nice & he is an honest doctor that cares about his patients. It’s a laid back, mom and pop operation with a vintage feel to it. The receptionist is friendly and shows up on time. The dentist decided to take a snow day on my first visit. That’s kind of great, but why did I have to find out upon my arrival for the appointment? Then he didn’t think it necessary to apologize himself.

If you like your dentist working in his street clothes, this is your guy. If you want a frontier style Doc, go no further. I prefer a dentist more interested in my teeth than in his massive toy gun collection which covers the walls of the examination room.

He “cleaned” my teeth and I left feeling the effort was half-hearted.

I won’t be back.

If you want a dentist who lets you swallow the bleach he’s using to disinfect your tooth, then he’s the right guy. I LOVE his assistant to death but I feel like he’s not paying much attention when he does his work, not numbing up enough then sticking the needle directly into the tooth. He told me he couldn’t do root canals but he could do what he could to help my tooth and ended up damaging the tooth more in the process.

The worst, most judgemental dentist I have ever been to. He verbally insulted me with comments like, donut eating person, with horrible teeth. And as many have commented his walls are decorated with guns, not appropriate at all for a dentist office.

Attempted to communicate with this Dr. And asked if he had read his own reviews. He became defensive and hung up on me. I guess looking in a mirror isn't one of his good points. I'd never trust and trust is a very important part of dental work for me This dentist I'd never trust.. I learned quickly just by a man who cant control his mouth and behavior.

Dental assistant was nice but he was very rough with the xrays, wanted to talk about his fake gun collection and told me that he could pull the tooth that hurt but wasnt sure if it would numb. I said I would wait and tried to get me to do it then. Would never go to that place again.
