I have always loved Janesville Family Dental and have referred others there. All of the staff have always been friendly, welcoming, and upbeat, especially the front desk staff. I could tell that everyone really enjoyed working there and got along well. It really set me at ease having dental anxiety and made going to the dentist a little less scary. Unfortunately, something changed this year and it doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I no longer recognize any of the staff at the front desk and the upbeat vibe just isn't there anymore when my son and I have had appointments. Then a few weeks ago, my autistic daughter was scheduled for her first dental appointment. This was a really big deal for her and it took weeks to prepare her for the appointment. I had received a text confirmation and I replied to confirm that we would be there. When I arrived, I was told that her appointment was no longer on the schedule. I was told that several hygentists had quit and that several dental appointments had been deleted from the schedule. This is unacceptable. I will be taking her elsewhere and am seriously considering changing dentists for my son and I as well. Extremely disappointing!

I called to schedule an appointment and confirm insurance. Was assured everything was good to go. Showed up for the appointment and was informed that they actually don’t take my insurance. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing the front desk blamed their call center.

I was recently referred to Janesville Family Dental Care for my wisdom tooth removal. I was very nervous about having this done. The experience was way better than I expected. Going under was comfortable and easy. The dentist gave me the time to ask any questions I needed. I was in a lot of pain the first day and my fiancé called the dentist about pain management. He called right back and called later that day just to check on me. When I needed a refill on my prescription, he went into to the office to write it up on a day he was not working. I've been to a few dental offices and the level of response/care is never there to this level. I plan on switching to them for all of my additional dental needs.

Everything was very pleasant and hygienist was super in how she cleaned my teeth and in her kindness. Office ladies were friendly and kind. Dr. Bachman is professional and down to earth, so thankful for Janesville Family Dentistry.

Went in for an appointment for a toothache,I realize I need extensive dental work and I went in hoping to get a plan for everything I need done,the dentist and his assistant were very uncaring and made me feel like a piece of crap…and acted like they wanted nothing to do with my situation,I’ve visited this practice in 2017 and they were wonderful,unfortunately that dentist is no longer there,a friend of mine told me they were terrible to him as well but I thought I’d give them a try due to my past experience,unfortunately he was right,they did nothing to get me out of pain and I do have excellent insurance and the ability to pay for my needs…it’s hard enough to go through dental issues and you expect them to actually care and show it…he was very cold and so was his assistant,pretty much left crying and I will never be back and I will let everyone know to not ever go there,the receptionist was very nice,maybe they need to take lessons from her…I have since made another appointment elsewhere ,I recommend you do not go there if you need major dental work

I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning in April 2024 for December 2024. I received text and email confirmations of this appointment. I took vacation time for the appointment. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was notified that my appointment was canceled due to staffing. They stated that they sent a text stating my appointment was canceled the day prior, however, I never received this text despite receiving the original confirmation texts without issue. Numerous others ahead of me reported they also didnt receive their cancelation text. The staff didnt apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and I ultimately took time off work and the time to drive to their office for no reason. I understand staffing issues exist but these situations should warrant a phone call notifying of the cancelation and also offering to reschedule clients rather than using a texting system that isn’t operating correctly. I am really disappointed in the professionalism of the staff here and will be seeking dental services elsewhere.

I had a fantastic experience at Janesville Family Dental Care. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Becky did an amazing job at explaining everything clearly to me. She was very professional. Dr. Bachman came in and made sure everything looked good and is a very genuine person. The office is clean and I felt very comfortable throughout my visit. My treatment was painless, and the results were excellent. I highly recommend Janesville Family Dental Care.

They had to reschedule my appointment due to “not have business hours during that time anymore” and the soonest they could get me in is 8 months from now?! They are a mess and will not recommend.
