I brought my two children for orthodontic consultations after reading about Dr. Chen on Little Red Book, and I’m so glad we made the trip. Upon entering, we were greeted by a cozy sitting area filled with books and business journals, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Meeting with Dr. Chen was a breath of fresh air; he explained everything in a calm and thorough manner. He logically laid out the current issues, their causes, and the recommended treatment approach, making it all clear and easy to understand for someone like me, who’s not familiar with orthodontics.

Dr. Chen especially emphasized the urgency of my older son’s situation, which made us realize the importance of beginning treatment promptly. What impressed me most was that after learning about our location, Dr. Chen actually recommended finding a closer clinic, knowing the treatment could span 24 months. This lack of pushiness and genuine care for our convenience made the clinic feel almost like home. I highly recommend Dr. Chen!

Dr James Chen and his staff are amazing! My daughter recently had her braces removed and she is so happy to see the wonderful results. Staff is very professional, efficient, and quick to respond when we needed help. Their fees are very reasonable too. We were quoted at other places almost twice as much as what we paid at Dr Chen’s. I came here a couple times for my orthodontics treatment. Overall good experience, Dr. Chen is nice, and the office is not overbooked. However, the front desk definitely need some training on how to work with their customers. It feels like she wants me to leave as soon as possible while there are questions to be answered. I don't understand the hurry here. And that lady was not always talking like this to other customers per my observation. Is it personal or she just need some training that I don't know. But definitely expect to see some improvements here.

I had a great experience here. When I first started, I was very nervous but after making conversation with both the staff and Dr. Chen, I felt very comfortable. The receptionist shows very thorough experience and is very flexible. The assistants are nice and also communicate well so that I was never worried about what they were doing. Dr. Chen is also a great communicator and shows a passion for his work which brings more trust to the patient. I'm now able to confidently show my teeth which are often complimented about.
Overall, this was the best experience I've had with any dental work, with a welcoming and understanding staff, efficient progress, and thorough communication.

Dr. James Chen and each of his associates were always super patient, supportive, and greeted me every time I came in and visited!

Before I used to visit Dr. Chen's office, my teeth were really overcrowded which resulted me in having my teeth oriented from pretty much every direction! But with Dr. James Chen's treatment, I now have perfectly straight teeth which I'm so happy to smile and be thankful for! Even when there were months where I would forget to wear my elastics which lengthened the treatment's duration, Dr. Chen was still really patient and kind with me.

The receptionists themselves were also really helpful and efficient when providing information, scheduling appointments, and communicating as they were bilingual who understood both English and Spanish fluently.

Overall, I had an amazing treatment with Dr. Chen and his associates. Always being friendly and patient with us!
