I recently took my dog in for a dental cleaning, and as expected the cost came out to much more, but aside from the service + sedation, i’m not sure why they charged so much extra. I was told I would get a receipt emailed to me, which I never got. It’s been nearly a month after I have called multiple times, and no answer. Ive also attempted emailing them, but says their inbox is full. They did this exact same thing last year when I took a different dog in for dental cleaning, and I need my receipts or my pet insurance can’t cover any costs. Very frustrating, and unprofessional. I would have paid way less at a vet because I would have an invoice. The results were okay, but every customer deserves a receipt if there’s more hidden costs.

When I took my dog most recently, they said I would receive a full invoice by email within 4 weeks so that I could submit to my pet insurance. Despite multiple texts, calls and emails, they will not respond to me nor provide a full invoice. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened to me with Howell's and is really frustrating to now have to pay out of pocket for something that is covered by the insurance that I also pay for.
