Photos are taken 7 days apart. We attended the maternity suite and noticed blood (which wasn't from ourselves) on the curtains, so we notified staff who said that they will be changed after we've left. We had to attend the following week and we're placed in the same cubicle where we noticed the same blood staining on the curtains which clearly hadn't been changed or washed.

excellent fast emergency and hospital stay for a week care, attentive staff, food lovely, clear aftercare information . Saw specialists that week afterwards, informed, clear multi disciplinary information on computer system to access records from tests. But booking follow up appointments can be difficult with a closed calendar, told to call start of next month , that is not so helpful.

Good private hospital, most people can speak English. In general very fast to get an appointment. Everything can be done from their App. But the room arrangement is not super good, I spent 20 minutes trying to locate where I should go inside the building…

A necessary alternative if you can afford it. Fluid, good care, very professional staff. Correct installations. I definitely recommend it as an alternative option to the public.

Before we did all the pregnancy checks with Dr. Rodrigo Orozco and everything was also great.

The worst experience of my life. I am pregnant, and I drove an hour to the Quirón hospital because of its supposed reputation as a top maternity hospital. I arrived at the emergency room with cramps and bleeding—symptoms of a miscarriage. The staff was rude and careless.

I asked for a chair because I couldn’t walk, but the woman at the desk said there were no chairs available. I told the nurse that I couldn’t walk, and her response was a very rude, “Well, don’t walk then.” I waited there for about an hour without any attention or information.

I went to the reception desk to ask for a manager, but there was no manager available. I asked for a complaint form and explained to the receptionist that I needed urgent help and had driven a long way to come to a private hospital expecting better care. He looked at the same woman from the earlier “chair episode” and said, “But you’re supposed to go to the gynecologist,” as if I was supposed to know where the gynecologist was!

I had been waiting for so long because no one directed me or provided any guidance. At that point, I was furious. I told him this was unbelievable and that this hospital was awful. I said I couldn’t believe such treatment was possible and that I was leaving. His response? A sarcastic “Chaooo,” just like the woman earlier.

I just needed some humanity and care in that moment. It’s painful in every possible way, and what a woman needs is compassion and delicacy during such a difficult time.

I don’t recommend this hospital to any woman. I wouldn’t even consider giving birth there after seeing how they treat you in an emergency.

During my recent operation and inpatient stay I was very impressed overall by the quality of care, facilities and procedure. Standout, perhaps for its absence in other facilities, was the tranquility and silence maintained at all times. Though, according to the nurse I asked, there was quite a number of other patients, most of whom had visitors including 24hrs of the day, in the sanctuary of my diaphanous private room, I felt as if I were the only occupant of a relaxing private sanctuary. Two other items which warrant special mention. The food. My compliments to the chefs and team. And the universally kind, caring and empathetic staff. On the downside, I do feel that Quiron could enhance the admission experience with information about what to expect during the hospital stay, pre- and post-operative processes. For me though, this was the only lack in an otherwise almost faultless offering.

I live and work in Dakar Senegal and recently fractured my leg. As surgery was recommended, I managed to fly back home in Spain, with the amazing support from work. A colleague put me in touch with Javier Del Rio Vera at Quiron Hospital Malaga. His communication, care and support has been unbelievable. As soon as I arrived from the airport, he had me checked in and an appointment booked for surgery. The level of care and attention from the doctors, nurses and support staff from A&E and the Level 2 ward was outstanding. They were always there when help was needed and regularly checked in on me. Thank you to the surgeons Dr Diaz Adolfo and Dr Correna Rodrigo, and the anesthesiologists for their expertise and for the smooth surgery. I was in excellent hands. A huge thank you to Javier Del Rio Vera and his team for a positive, supportive and professional experience during this scary time for me. Feliz Navidad y Año Nuevo a todos en Quirón Málaga!
