Dr. Hlavaty and his staff are professional and very kind and caring. They make a point to make sure pain and anxiety is not a concern, your comfort is very important and is a tenant of his approach to dentistry and proof of his exceptional work ethic. His office is beautiful, calming, spotless and has all new state of the art equipment!

He has done several procedures on my horrible teeth that I thought were a lost cause. I was hopeless and afraid that the entire process of fixing my many cracked, broken and completely decayed teeth would be painful, unaffordable, and endless.

After my first visit I was so relieved and felt reassured. He clearly explained the stages of my treatment and helped me understand that my fears were valid. He encouraged me to ask him any questions or concerns along the way and we would be partners throughout the entire process.

Dr. Hlavaty calmly informed me that he has seen it all, even worse cases than mine! He been in the profession for many years and has extensive expertise with all my ailments. He is careful in his planning of stages of treatment and ensures the best possible outcome with as few appointments as possible.

He is diligent in following up after every visit! If I had any issues at all after my MANY procedures, Dr. Hlavaty would make sure I had sufficient medication for pain management during my short term discomfort and healing process.

He also made sure my new implants were comfortable and told me if I needed any adjustments to make sure to contact his office.

I am absolutely thrilled with his meticulous work fixing my old root canals and replacing them with new crowns! I will never go to a different dentist after this experience with Dr. Hlavaty and his staff. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my smile. I HIGHLY recommend him!

I decided to post this picture of the results from my most recent visit a couple weeks ago. I am absolutely thrilled with the way my top teeth look!

Can you believe these are just the temporaries? My permanent crowns will be ready in the next week or so. Wow, I am thrilled and so thankful. Already my friends and family have noticed the incredible improvement in my smile and have commented on the difference it had made in my appearance, mood and confidence.

So I went into dr. Hlavaty office with my front 7 teeth already grind down with broken temps because the last dentist left me with broken temps. I received a call out of the blue from hlavaty dental art and I just happen to be in need of a dentist and I thought it was a sign . Boy was I wrong, I explained what I just went through at the other dental office and they assured me that I wouldnt have any problems with them. When he put the new temps on it was painful and I kept saying it hurt and never got numb then the temps he put in my mouth were poorly made. I said right away that I didn’t like them and they said give it a week and don’t smile big. then less then a week later they broke in half. I went in for 7 veneers but after the poorly done temps there was no way I was going to go through the same thing I just went through with the other dentist that ruined my smile and charged me for it. So I called and explained that I wasn’t coming back because the work he did wasn’t done good and I’m not going to pay more money to still have no veneers and be out more money because the work isn’t good. He has 4500 of my money and poceeds to tell me that the poorly done work that broke less then a week later hes charging me $4500. The picture is the poorly done temps dr. Hlavaty did and the other picture is what I was left with, grind down teeth. I don’t know how he feels right by charging me anything for the work he did. I would stay far away from this office. He ripped me off worse than the first place.

Having recently moved to Santa Barbara from LA I hadn't found a dentist yet but when a crown fell out they took me right away. The service was professional, not pushy, and I liked the vibe of the office and staff.
