My dad had a procedure done today, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was very comforting thanks to the amazing staff. The front desk ladies, Lily and Nacy, were incredibly helpful and greeted us with genuine kindness, which really helped ease our nerves.
Later in the day, I needed additional assistance, and Ruth went above and beyond to help me. She was patient, attentive, and truly took the time to make sure everything was taken care of.
The compassion and professionalism shown by Lily, Nacy, and Ruth made a stressful day much easier, and it did not go unnoticed. Thank you all for providing such excellent care and customer service.

I stayed at this hospital overnight for surgery, and my experience was truly positive. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. The nurses and doctors were professional, compassionate, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and informed throughout my stay. I felt well cared for from admission to discharge and am very grateful for the level of care I received. Thank you to the entire team for making my recovery start on such a positive note.

I recently had surgery at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. From registration and pre-assessment testing all the way through discharge, every single staff member I encountered was absolutely amazing. Everyone was incredibly sweet, caring, and truly went above and beyond in every way.

My Pre-Op nurse and my OR nurse Adelfina were both spectacular and made me feel calm, safe, and well cared for before surgery. Dr. Ferreti, the anesthesiologist came to check on me and ensure that I was being well cared for and was comfortable and at ease. Dr. Chang was also super sweet and did such an amazing job intubating me that I didn't have any sore throat. PACU nurse, I think his name was Jonathan, also super sweet, patient, helped my pain levels and made sure to answer all my questions.

On the 6th floor, my day nurse Dayana was nothing short of incredible. I was in a great deal of pain, and she was constantly by my side—calling doctors, getting medications ordered immediately, and doing everything in her power to help me through what was one of the most difficult times of my life.

Mirilia, the tech, also went above and beyond. She anticipated every need, was prompt, fast, and efficient, and worked hard to make both my stay and my mother’s stay as comfortable as possible. My night-shift nurse Elizabeth was also very sweet and caring and did her best to ensure my pain was under control.
Kevin, the unit secretary, made sure I was helped as soon as possible and made sure I received my meds from the pharmacy.
Two day shift charge nurses/ leaders and the manager came to my room to see if there is anything special they can do for me to make my stay better.

These are just the names I can remember, but my mother and I were truly amazed that there was not a single encounter that wasn’t kind, compassionate, and caring. I honestly felt like I was some sort of VIP patient.

This is by far the best hospital experience I’ve ever had—for myself and compared to others I know who have been hospitalized.

Nurse Teresa was absolutely amazing during my care and my baby Eric’s care. From the moment she came in, she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure both my baby and I were comfortable and well taken care of at all times. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine care made such a difference during this special moment. I am truly grateful for her and would highly recommend her to any mom and baby.

We had a wonderful experience at Mercy Hospital SICU unit. The level of Care to the patient and family members is incredible.
They go above and beyond to make sure patient is taken care of.
I would like to recognize ICU nurse Yurina and Amanda what loving and caring individuals, they cared for my husband as he were family.
Also the unit Supervisor David always making sure we were taken care of and explaining everything in detail.

The worst hospital experience I’ve ever had. The next worse was also at Mercy in 2007. I was discharged 1/21/26. 2 nurses spoke only Spanish. Out of a three week stay only about 3 good nurses. Always an hour or at least1/2 hr to respond to a call. All patients should bring a caregiver or family member to stay with them. Jackson and Doctors hospitals are much better. Also Baptist.

She is an exceptional doctor who genuinely cares for her patients, dedicating her time and skills to their well-being. I feel fortunate to have a doctor like you, Dr. Florez; you are truly remarkable and highly professional.
