Pros: The only reason for the 4 stars was because the Nurses were awesome!
High level of care between myself and the other person in the hospital room.
Con’s: The emergency room I got sent to was filthy especially the floors, and a bug crawling around the room. ( I spent 6 long hours in there!) When I finally got admitted and sent up to the 2nd floor to stay for 2 days, my wife, daughter, and I wiped the room down with disinfectant wipes since we saw what it looked like in the emergency room. The bathroom floor was dirty and looked like it needed a good cleaning. It seems no one will mop behind the doors when they are in the closed position. The nurses did say they just opened up the room because it wasn’t used in quite some time. Nevertheless Cleanliness should take precedence above all else in a hospital or any medical facility! Cleanliness is the gold standard procedure to make sure the hospital is clean and disinfected to ensure germs, bacteria, or MRSA infections aren’t spread. If I had an open wound or any type of operation I would have opted to be transported to another hospital. Not worth the risk of getting a terrible infection. To me a hospital should look clean and smell sanitized, HCA Lake city was neither, it just felt dirty. Please feel free to enlarge the pictures to see details. I didn’t get pictures of the bathroom floors.

First experience here for a mammogram. From checking through the X-ray everyone was kind and helpful. Only my second 3D mammogram and was not painful at all. Much better than previous machines.
Ashley was very sweet and professional. I will highly recommend the Imaging Center.

Every person I came in contact with were patient, kind, caring & it could not have been easy for the nurses caring for me but they are all to be commended because they did it all with grace, tact, kindness. I was so ill, that Inside of me wanted to just scream. Been through so much in my life & now that I am old it is more difficult. But ALL did their very best concerning me. I thank them for doing what I can see was an impossible job.

Everyone made the stay as comfortable as possible for my husband. The doctors kept us informed of all the test and meds they gave. The nursing staff was so good with my husband. With him having Alzheimer's/dementia they were understanding that he may not understand right off what they were saying to him.

My husband recently went to HCA for scans. Between the doctor's office, the insurance carrier and scheduling it was difficult to coordinate. The employees in scheduling at HCA were so helpful. (Katherine, Denise and Denisha), they went above and beyond to accommodate our specific situation. The check in was quick, easy & efficient. We hadn't been to Lake City Hospital since it was at the previous location, we were impressed by this experience.

I was seen in the ER yesterday early morning. I had the best care from the nurses to the ER physician. My wait wasn’t long and check in was quick and as pleasant as it could be. I’m grateful for this level of quality care and compassion.

Other than having to wait a few months for an appointment, everything was easy and smooth. I’ve had scans done here before and the technician is an absolute pro - gentle and kind. I have bad knees and hip and the taller chairs in the waiting room, were the absolute best. My only other complaint is somewhere in between calling me to schedule my appointment and the appointment they lost my order, and I had to get another one from my Drs office.

I used to like this hospital. But now I don’t think so not after what happened to me today. I went in today with shortness of breath, feeling like I’ve run a marathon, told them my medical history that I have anemia and that I have went through this before and for them to check my iron and they told me that they don’t check your iron levels in the ED. They only check it if you’re admitted so what they do they sent me home with the same symptoms did nothing for me. All they did was do a little bit of bloodwork an x-ray, and said you are perfectly healthy. We’re going to send you home but yet still I can’t breathe. I give this hospital a one star and I recommend do not go to this hospital unless you want to die because they will freaking kill you.
