I moved up from Santa Barbara 55 years ago and have experienced many dentists from San Luis Obispo to Pismo Beach. Dr. Lee is the best kept secret on the Central Coast. It took me years to find him. He is the very best!

This is the worst dental care I have ever experienced. I went in for a normal implant with crown. Ended up with a cemented in post not traditional screw in crown. Just some a rough feeling metal post . Went in for crown did not fit. The day I went in for implant Dr Kee said I needed a new bridge which I asked for implants instead he said I didn’t need implant bridge would be replaced . He forces my hammered my bridge off and he had grunts while he was pounding away. My mouth was so damaged and I could feel discomfort . During time he took my bridge out I coukd hear a noise like a bone or something. He made a cover over my ground teeth which were there out of the old metal from my removed bridge. When I left I asked for a bottle of the prescription he had on his shelf his assistant asked if I should have one she came back and said no. I questioned it she said he said no. The new bridge finally came in but it was a weird fit but he got it on and while putting it on he drilled off more of my teeth and I coukd feel pain. He permanently glued it in when other dentist would say to let me wear it a few days. My entire area under the new bridge became very inflamed and I told Dr Lee about it and asked him to redo it he said it’s too late it’s already cemented on. While he was putting it on it was pressing so tight against my other teeth that my lower front teeth have shifted but only on the side that he put the bridge on. When I asked him about it he said when we get older our teeth shift. I coukd agree with that except this wasn’t the case til after he put the crown on. He reluctantly did use a little piece of dental paper to run between the bridge and my other tooth. He also removed a nerve from a molar which had had a nerve removed before. When I told him this tooth was odorous he told me it was from food getting trapped between my gums and the tooth that he would place a filling in it. That tooth broke off at the gum line . Ended up having an oral surgeon remove the sore bridge and the molar. One tooth supporting the bridge was cracked my tissue was inflamed and infected. The Molar was abcessed . I have gone to Dr Lee and asked if I could have a refund as the bills I’m having to pay to get my teeth straightened out are and have been very costly on top of the cash I have paid him. I also informed him that if we could not come to an agreement I will file a small claim and will report him to the dental board. He responded with a description of his “ work” when I first informed him of the cracked tooth I reminded him that he used unbelievable blunt force hammering and chiseling he did say that he could have cracked the tooth. As of this time I’m planning to follow thru with claims court and reporting him to the dental board. I read several people who have had similar experiences in this office. Please know he’s a talker and friendly especially at first but save yourself the risk of problems. I’ve been an RN for many years and while I realize I’m not a dental expert by any means but I do have great skills and I’m confident Dr Lee has provided services that are probably above his training. I regret this office experience mentally physically and financially.
