Function has been instrumental in my recovery after shoulder surgery. The therapists are incredibly knowledgeable and I’ve been amazed at how quickly my body has responded well to therapy. Blake keeps me challenged and is able to adapt to my specific needs. Kirsten, Seaton, Ashley and Paige have also been incredibly helpful along the way. I very much appreciated the guidance Blake offered as I rehabilitated my shoulder over the course of many weeks. The collective efforts of the front desk staff and the cleanliness of the facility did not go unnoticed either, contributing to a complete and satisfactory experience. I have several chronic back conditions that cause pain, trouble walking, standing, and sleeping. I’ve been through PT at least 5-6 times over the past 18-20 years, with success I might add. However, my experience at Function was completely different from any previous PT. The movements were more subtle with the ability of many exercises to be done while standing or sitting rather than lying down. This makes it easier to do them almost anywhere. In my previous experiences I have never had the full attention of the therapist at each session. At Function the therapist is working with or observing one patient at a time. Ashley was wonderful and patient. She knew information about the causes of my pain that I had never heard from anyone before, not even a doctor. She created a plan that worked! Don’t expect instant results. It takes time, diligence and patience on your part even after being released.
