My whole family has been going to Dr. Liu for years. He has gentle hands and uses a topical anesthetic (benzocaine) prior to inserting the needle with the numbing agents for dental work. His procedures are quick and painless. You don't have to wait in the waiting area to be seated for more than a couple of minutes. He uses actual dental hygienists to do your every 6 month cleanings. He is very easy going and easy to talk to; he always makes me laugh when going in. He gets to know you and your family. I highly recommend getting your dental services at his office.

Usually when going to a doctor's visit you are greeted with a friendly helpful person. But unfortunately this office is not so. And after the completion of the visit when you are togo over treatment plan they speak to you as if you are a complete moron. So dont ask questions just nod. This will prevent the eye roll given by the office staff. Maybe a name change of the business from friendly smiles to a more suitable name of don't ask and sit down dental.

Dr. Liu has been my dentist ever since I was a little girl 🙂 he's the most genuine person ever and is so kind and gentle, as are all of the ladies who work there! His wife is also the sweetest lady ever I love her so much and enjoy seeing her routinely 🙂 Every time we visit it feels like we're coming to visit our relatives lol we love Friendly Smile! Their chairs are very comfortable and the office is always very clean and beautiful, I highly recommend Friendly Smile to everyone, even those who hate the dentist!

I have been coming to Friendly Smile Dentistry for almost four years now and have never had a bad visit.

When I first starting coming here my teeth were not in the greatest of shape and had a number of years of neglect from not visiting the dentist, but now with the awesome Dr. Liu and his staff they have brought my teeth full circle to being in tip top shape.

I have had a number of filings done here that went super smoothly and there was no problems at all. I get 2 cleanings per year, which always leave my teeth looking top notch. I have also had a deep cleaning here that was done without a hitch. I have also had some more advanced work done here that has only added to my teeth and mouth health.

I even bump into Dr. Liu in public ever once in a while when I am grocery shopping. He is one of the nicest guys I know and really knows his stuff.

This the the dentist I would recommend to anyone in Modesto, which I have done and my friends that have gone to him have also been very happy with their visits.

Dr. Liu is a great dentist who you can trust. I had some old bonding from an accident 3 years ago that needed to be replaced. It took a few tries to get the color to match my teeth but he was very patient and made sure it was perfect. He has also helped me with some TMJ issues by adjusting my bite. He has flexible office hours and an excellent staff. I highly recommend him.
