I needed a root canal on a back molar. I was nervous and I was expecting discomfort and pain. Dr Daftary made me extremely calm with his conversations and he was not in a rush. His work was very thorough and gentle. He would actually hum occasionally as he worked (and it was a very nice tune I might add).
After the numbness wore off I did expect pain. I do have a slight discomfort but nothing like the pain I felt I would be in. I'm very pleased and impressed with Dr Daftary and his office staff.
And I would highly recommend his services.

Do not recommend. During my root canal procedure my lip was burned bad. When Dr. noticed dental assistant just replied “she’s fine.” Second, after procedure I started to notice symptoms that were most likely caused by this procedure. Sinus issues, migraines, ear aches, swollen jaw, blister on face, etc. I reached out to the office to get a recommendation on what I should do because I was in a lot of pain. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude. She kept cutting me off on the phone insisting that this was not caused by them. These symptoms are very conmen when a root canal has failed. She did not offer to help and got very defensive as to if she was covering up their mistake. She would not even let me speak to the dentist. I only called to get a recommendation on what I should do. Poorly trained office and VERY rude staff. I did not feel comfortable and I do not recommend at all if you want to keep your teeth somewhat “healthy.”

I had an emergency need for a root canal. All the other offices were unavailable for at least 3 weeks, even though I was already in pain. I also had travel plans, which would be a problem given my medical needs. The doctor got me in and out the same day as my consult, and the root canal turned out great.

Dr Daftary is wonderful at what he does. He has done two root canals on me. He is gentle, kind, soft spoken and quite funny. His staff is so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend him.

Don’t go here when I told the lady receptionist” that I would paid cash she immediately was verbally aggressive. So rude, she was yelling like crazy not letting me talk. I will take my business somewhere else. 5/17/2023 AM
