On my very first visit, Dr. Wipf offered an extraordinary level of discernment and intuition in addressing my complications with a new implant. His attention to detail during about the most thorough dental examination I've ever experienced sets him apart from any other dentist I’ve visited. Dr. Wipf took the time to talk through my needs, offering insightful recommendations for continuing care. His ability to explain complex procedures in an approachable manner instills confidence and trust. Adding to the experience is his congenial and professional staff, both welcoming and attentive. Even during my least favorite aspect of dental visits—x-rays, which are the only legal form of torture in America—his assistant’s patience, diligence and concern made the process surprisingly manageable. What could have been an uncomfortable ordeal flew by thanks to her thoughtful care.
Better late than never, I’ve found an exceptional dentist just blocks from home. I offer my highest recommendation to anyone seeking a dentist in Santa Barbara.

The best, nicest staff in town! I’ve been to several dentist in town over 20 years and have been with Dr. Wipf for several years now.
The office staff is wonderful and have been there for a long time. Great hygienist- Shelby is very thorough and gentle at the same time:) And Dr. Wipf is a very good dentist, had an implant and other services there, he is excellent and kind! So happy there!

Dr. Wipf is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He has successfully done some moderately complicated rework of work not done well by another dentist. He and his staff are friendly and helpful when it comes to supporting how I care for my teeth in between cleanings and checkups. As a result, I haven’t needed any significant dental work in several years now and my teeth and gums are in better shape than they have been in a long time.

I've unfortunately had a number of dental issues, which makes me somewhat of a dental connoisseur. My official opinion is this dental office falls into the top-most echelon of patient experience. Scheduling, reception, hygienists, and the dentists are all top tier. I've received care from both Dr. Wipf and Dr. Aiello, and you cannot go wrong between the two. They are both highly professional, knowledgable, skilled at delivering care, are good listeners, and have overall 10/10 bedside behavior. This is my go-to recommendation if you are looking for a new dentist.
