I had the misfortune of needing a root canal after issues with a filled molar. After my dentist confirmed the problem I had a formal consultation with Dr Rezai and was able to get an early morning appointment for the service next day. The staff is attentive, kind and efficient and the office is lovely. I also appreciated the tech as I could follow along with the procedure very easily. The hygienist turned on some EDM and the doctor got to work. One hour later I was out the office and back to work with little to no pain. I highly recommend this office if you find yourself needing this type of care.

My personal experience with the staff and Dr. Rezai were exceptional. The front office staff were professional, informative and knowledgeable. The dental assistant was friendly and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. Dr. Rezai was personable and extremely knowledgeable. He took time to explain the procedure he would be performing which eased any anxiety I was feeling.

This is a new office for Dr. Rezi, I believe. The building located a few blocks from Sproul Hall at the UC Berkeley Campus. The outside may have been spruced up, but the inside office of Dr. Rezi's is brand-spanking new. The waiting room is huge and reminds me of one in a Woody Allen movie. The receptionist greeted me with a huge smile and was warm and intelligent. Further exploring this was her conversation I listened to while she talked to someone on the phone about what appeared a deep understanding of what the client was asking about. I was impressed.

I met Dr. Rezi (Ali) at a restaurant. I assumed he was a doctor and asked him if he was. He reminded me of my father, who was also a doctor. I have known him for a number of years. I see him at the restaurant from time to time.

I have been to various locations of the practice that he owns, but there are many more that I haven't been to and I love the interior design choices. Each one is tended to by first-rate assistants and office staff.

What I like about Dr. Rezi is that he is not just an oral surgeon, but he is a business man.

Having known him a number of years, I eventually asked him about a tooth that had a root canal, which could have been as long as 40 years ago. It gave me trouble. My primary dentist asked me if I was having trouble with a molar in the back because she noticed a dark coloring on the Xray above the tooth. There was always a low-grade pain associated with it and it started to bother my eye, but it really didn't bother me, so I told her no. Anyway, to make a long story short I had the tooth cleaned of any nerves, which apparently were still there and a new crown put on. It still hurt, so my primary dentist referred me to an oral surgeon in Walnut Creek, and rather than remove the crown that I had just put on, he drilled a hole into it and tried to extract the abscess material. Over time, that didn't work. I finally asked Ali to see what he could do. He tried to clean the tooth in a manner similar to the first oral surgeon and it didn't work and he was finally able to find a small crack that was causing the tooth to become infected. He told me I needed the tooth to be removed. I had it removed, began the process of having an implant, bone was put in, and this latest appointment with Ali, was a check-up before I finalized the implant. He assured me everything was in order and to go forward.

What I want to stress is how incredibly thorough and gentle Ali is. His facilities are top of the line, and immaculate. There are a lot of staff and they are professional and well-trained. He has become a friend of mine. I recommend him. He is a great surgeon and human being.

I had my first appointment with Dr Rezai yesterday. The clinicians who took my information and did the scans of my teeth were both friendly and very professional. I immediately felt like i was in good hands. After consulting the x- rays, Dr Rezai delivered some fairly devastating news with compassion, understanding and excellent advice.

Dr Rezai and staff were awesome. I never had a root canal and was a little nervous but that quickly went away. I was able to pick a music genre on pandora and the procedure itself was very efficient and smooth - No trauma whatsoever. Thank you! And I really also appreciated that there was parking ( free) 🙂

I had an emergency possible root canal and they fit me in the same day! And they covered my insurance which was a real plus. They were clear and upfront about the costs which made me feel much more comfortable with the process.

But the best part was that they didn't just automatically do the root canal, but spent time evaluating my symptoms, taking xrays (including a 3-day xray when they didn't see evidence of an infection on the regular x-ray), and doing a hands-on evaluation. And happy news, no root canal needed. Dr. Fujimura talked with me, not at me, about possible causes and we decided on a non-invasion course of action.

I felt listened to, taken care of, clearly communicated with, and left a very happy patient.

This is a lovely office with a kind and efficient staff and incredible expertise. I was referred to EndoCare Group by my long-time dentist, who could not see the source of my tooth pain in the x-rays he took and so surmised (correctly, as it turned out) that I had a problem with the root and nerve of the tooth. I got an immediate appointment with EndoCare for the next day, and with the office's sophisticated equipment Dr. Rezai was able to evaluate my problem within minutes. He and his able assistant completed the procedure quickly and competently, with minimal pain or discomfort. He explained everything as he went along, showing me on the images what he was talking about. I was in and out in less than an hour-and-a-half, with solid instructions on aftercare. The next day I received a follow-up phone call to check on my condition; I felt great. My toothache was gone and I had very little pain after the procedure -- I could handle it with ibuprofen. I have rarely felt so expertly and kindly cared for in a medical setting.
