I recently had an experience at the hospital that exceeded my expectations. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained, which made me feel much more comfortable during my stay. Both the doctors and nurses were incredibly attentive and took the time to answer every question my husband and I had.

I was particularly impressed with how well they took care of my wound; they ensured that I wasn’t in any pain throughout the process. It was also nice to see how they treated my newborn with such care, making sure both of us were well taken care of.

We never had to worry about water or our meals—they brought everything according to my dietary needs, which I really appreciated. Plus, the staff always greeted us with warm smiles and introduced themselves each time they entered the room, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Overall, I can't thank the team enough for their kindness and professionalism during our time there.

First off, I wanted to say there’s a guy who picks you up in a little electric vehicle if you have to park in the far away lot. His name is Anthony. He brought me in and saved me from a hard walk, and when I came out he was pulling up, and gave me a wave to come on over for a ride. He was really kind and made my dad, twice .

I also wanted to say there’s people who handled my MRI were all super-nice and accommodating. I didn’t catch the main lady’s name, but she was working with Lacey, and Robert. They were all perfect! I wish I knew the main lady’s name, but she was there today (11/21/25) at 1pm, and she had long brown hair. She made sure to get excellent images and they all took great care of me. I will definitely try to go to Queen of the Valley for radiology in the future.
Update: Unfortunately there was a problem with my MRI results. This has nothing to do with the people I talked about. They were all great. This has to do with the person who did the report on my MRI.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of having Uribe Alicia as my nurse. She went above and beyond to ensure that my husband was well taken care of and his wound was properly cleaned. Her professionalism and kindness made the experience even better. I am grateful for her excellent care and would highly recommend her as an LVN Nurse.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR BABY HERE!!! I delivered my first baby here three months ago, and I’m writing this review in hopes of saving someone else from the emotional trauma I went through. DO NOT LET DR. NISSAM DELIVER YOUR BABY UNLESS YOU WANT A C SECTION. About an hour before her shift ended, Dr. Nissam told me my baby would suffer brain damage if I didn’t get a C-section immediately due to heart rate decelerations. She also claimed my baby was “too big” to deliver naturally. She then said she would give me five minutes to make a decision. I refused to be pressured and waited for her shift to end so I could get a second opinion. The next doctor on call told me she was hopeful I could deliver naturally since there were other methods to try first. And guess what? After 27 hours of labor, I delivered my baby vaginally with zero complications and a one degree tear (she was 8 lbs 14 oz) and I am 5’3. Nurse Diana was an absolute saint and supported me when I felt scared and overwhelmed. She is one of the only reasons this experience wasn’t even worse.Dr. Nissam made me feel unsafe, unheard, and manipulated during one of the most important moments of my life. No mother should have to experience that. I have never wrote a review in my life until now….

Dr Saul Macias was by worst ER doctor I’ve came across; mind you I have a disease. I was very poilte and told him what work for me. He quickly just shrugged his shoulders and didn’t care. Moreover, he never listened to my symptoms fully and just walked away. If I was you i would recommend seeing a different doctor such as Dr Bloch he is very understanding, compassionate and a great listener. Shame on macias I wouldn’t even call him a doctor I will speak to my attorney. End up also going to a different hospital where they found out I was anemic, needed a inhaler and much more 0 stars to macias like I said I will not refer to him as a Dr as he’s far from it. Coming from a son who’s mothers is a Dr at the city of hope.. 12/18/25

This is not a legal advice. It is just my personal opinion. You should do your research before deciding to come here. I should have to give one star since there is not another option. You should never bring your beloved relative here. At this location, many nurses performed the worst job they can do. I can tell many incidents regarding nurses and physicians but this comment could be a thousand words long so I tell you some of them. First, let me tell you that I slept overnight beside my mom's bed all the time she was in hospital so I am knowledge about everything. My mother was doing well two weeks after her hospitalization but suddenly a nurse showed up in the room making questions to my mom that she cannot answer due her hearing problems and sedation. This nurse decides that my mom has neurological problems and send her to the sixth floor to a room where another patient had respiratory problems, which made her cough day and night. I asked the charge nurse that my mother should be moved to another room but she replied no since, there was not another rooms but she lied there were another rooms. Obviously, my mom developed the same respiratory problems. From this point and on my mother started developing another health issues. Nurses moved my mom several times to floor third, fourth, sixth, again 4th. Just because they decided and according my mom health issues which many of them resulted from nurses bad decisions. My personal opinion is that many patients become more ill due the nurses decision and the low level of care they offer. It is sad that RNs studied just to be medication givers and make good money but here they showed lack of compassion, misunderstanding the patient's need, coordination with physician that made my mother sicker. Physicians are also medication givers there was not a coordination between them. In this case, there were at least 6 physician involved. Cardiologist, infectious, gastroenterologist, pulmonology, primary care physician. Every one of them give medication. All of these medications have side effects that are weaken the patient body. It is at this moment that I felt that was not coordination or a real plan to improve my mom's health instead of damaging her. Every day physicians show up even though they do nothing. It is just to charge your insurance. Nurses and Drs. do not well coordinate everything. In so many days I stayed in hospital beside my mom at least forty different RNs attended my mom's health. Obviously, a well follow up was not exactly done since so many RNs changes. Many occasions they misplaced the intravenous device to provide the liquids correctly so the liquids swelled my mother's arms. Apart of many questionable incidents with Nurses and Drs. the family relatives have to deal with the stressful moments when the case manager try to discharge your relative due they are not making money after certain days a patient is hospitalized and Medicare stop paying the hospital. Case manager call you, call you, and call you trying to get you out even though my mother was not stable. At the end, my mother was discharged to a nursing facility but we came back to hospital and few days later my mom passed due different health issues which were acquired in this hospital and not from the health issues she was admitted at the beginning. Why? Due bad decisions from Nurses and physicians and the bad treatment I feel was giving in this hospital. Bad coordination between the responsible parties. People should be aware of this and another different hospitals so in an emergency they know where to go. I do not recommend Emanate Health group Queen of the valley. It was the worst decision I made.

My mother ended up here at the ER. She waited a long time before somebody assisted her. She was suffering from sepsis. She was 80 years old blood pressure 50/30. We kept on calling people to come look at her. They were very nice very accommodating. I do not have any complaints about the doctors. Are the nurses the problem is there’s not enough of them. I think it’s happening everywhere to be honest just a few days before this she was at emanate hospital foothill Presbyterian, where the Center home with sepsis. They never took her blood work there. Three days later, with still being very ill she ended up at this hospital, which is emanate queen of the valley. She finally was admitted into the hospital, where the nurses were very kind, but ignored the button when she pressed for help. I’m assuming they didn’t do it on purpose because when I looked out on the hall to try to see if anybody was there there was nobody to be seen. When the nurses did show up, they were very kind and accommodating. I absolutely have no complaints about the nurses. Their attitudes are their kindness. It’s just that nobody showed up when my mom asked for help with the button. There was a woman screaming in pain for hours next to her. My mother was severely sick didn’t get enough sleep there I finally requested just to please let me take her home and take care of her.

Gave birth here in 2021 and was very dissatisfied with the experience. Did not receive welcoming, sympathetic or understanding bedside manner at all.
Since it was my first time giving birth, I was immediately dismissed in being able to gauge my own progress/feelings. When I told them I was not going to be taking any epidural or medication they were annoyed that I wasn’t going along with their program.
I labored to 9cm in the waiting room rather than labor and delivery because they did not listen to me when I told them I was very close to delivering. After a demand to check my progress and seeing that I was in fact in active labor, they quickly rushed me to labor and delivery trying to get me to sign paperwork fast while putting me on a gurney and rushing me to labor and delivery.
As I arrived to delivery room and switched beds, my water broke and instantly had the urge to push but I was told by a nurse to hold it until the doctor came, I was forced to hold my baby in for at least 5 minutes waiting for them to rush a doctor in. By the time the doctor arrived, my urgency to push was gone and had to push with time limits & almost caused my baby to have to be cut out with an episiotomy or cesarean because her heart rate was decreasing. Fortunately, after hearing about her heart rate, I was able to push her out with one last big push.
I feel that, if I was heard and listened to before hand, the delivery would have been easier and the entire experience would have been better and wouldn’t have caused more stress onto my unborn child at the time.

Later, I was told by a doctor at a different facility, that they were surprised that I delivered vaginally at this hospital as they have a lot of cesarean births - go figure.

This hospital most likely prefers cesarean births because the doctors are surgery happy and the hospital will even sabotage your labor and delivery experience for the hospital’s own benefit.
