Very rude and unprofessional. The wait time is ridiculous, the staff will talk to you like you’re an idiot the entire time or won’t talk to you at all. My sweet daughter is TERRIFIED to ever go back to that place because one of the hygienists told her if she moved again they would “put another needle in her mouth” who the hell tells a 7 year old that?! I hate the fact that parents aren’t allowed in the back and now I know exactly why they aren’t allowed back, they just don’t want you to know how they treat your child. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone ever. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I wish I had known what was said to my child before we left from there but my child was afraid to tell me while we were there because she was worried what the women would say. All I can say is how dare you treat innocent children that way. That entire office should be ashamed. They do not care at all. Never going back there.

This one star review is actually a ZERO star. Warning for everyone who has to use Medicaid, and everyone in general. If you want your child to be taken care of. DO NOT GO HERE. Unprofessional. Incompetent. Unethical and Negligent. Don’t waste your time or money. Take your kids to a dentist who will actually treat your child with respect

I only take my grandsons there because it's the dentist the parents choose, but I'm the one that takes him and I LOATHE this office for multiple reasons. 1. You have to wait HOURS be be seen, what make an appointment if you can't stay on schedule That means my already anxious 4 yr old grandson has to wait for hours and the "play area" is horrible, nothing works doesn'tlook like it has been truly cleaned in years. 2. The staff is so rude, inconsideratewith snotty attitudes!!!!! I'm a 55 yr old grandmother that raised my children and babysat or had a revolving door of kids throughout my children's life and they talk to me like I don't have the sense God gave a rock. 3. They do not allow the adult to go back with the child. I don't care that they have video equipment in the back, you can't log into it and watch the appointment and I want to KNOW how he behaved or responded to the treatment he's receiving. It's my understanding it's the only practice in that general area that accepts Medicaid or bamacare or whatever government assisted program there is out there, so they have no incentive to be better or treat people better and although they may not think so or care, my time is valuable and waiting for an appointment for HOURS is ridiculous!!!!!

Not a big fan. They do not let you go back with your children. Not sure why… We went there for about two years and my son never cared for it. The last time we went, he came out and he looked like he had been crying, and when I asked him, he said yes, that they were spraying him in the face with the water. It would have made a big difference if they would have came and spoke to me and explained what had happened, but they did not say one word.

We started coming here because my son wouldn’t let the regular dentist give him the numbing medicine to have his teeth filled. Dr. Tara Moncus could do it all and it kept me from going all over the place just to get a tooth filled. There was one dental assistant that was rude to my child and I complained and asked that my kids not be seen by her again! Also, I’ve never met or had Dr. Moncus talk to me about any issues that she seen. I guess she’s just too busy to take her time out to speak to the parents about their children dental concerns. I’ll be so glad when my kids can go to a regular dentist and I no longer have to deal with the confusion at this office.

This is the most unprofessional and uncaring place! It’s just a factory with a conveyor belt of children waiting to be seen. You will wait months for an appointment and then when it finally arrives they often txt you the before and say the Dr. is out of the office so you have to reschedule! If you make it there you will wait at least 2 hours but most likely 3 hours to have your child go back WITHOUT YOU. The staff is rude especially the staff that works in the back with your children! I wish I could remember that witch’s name but they refused to see my 9 yr old child knowing she had been on antibiotics waiting for this appointment to make her well. She was in pain and they refused to see her because I was upset that I had to wait 3 hrs with my 2 yr old child who was hungry and crying and I let them know how ridiculous it was without cursing or yelling. The woman proceeded to argue with me and tell me I should have been prepared to wait 3 hrs! Then they cancelled my daughter’s appt and refused to see her after. Don’t waste your time! It’s awful all the way around! Including the so called play area where nothing works!

As a special needs mother who is able to go back to the dental chair with my child, I can totally attest that Dr. Tara and all the staff are absolutely AMAZING!!! We are SO blessed to have this office in dekalb county! I was worried I was going to have to start going to Birmingham children's hospital for dental services after my child's former dentist office could no longer "service" her due to her being special needs and her difficult behaviors. LOVE this office and zero complaints!! ?❤️

My mom was running late for my daughter's first dentist visit and they would not take her or reschedule her. My other children went here and loved it but I would always wait 2-3 hours.
