If I could give zero stars for this encounter, I would. The level of unprofessionalism from Dr. Marty's office staff is unacceptable. I scheduled an appointment specifically with Dr. Marty, taking time off work to do so. Mere minutes before my appointment, I received a call notifying me of a delay. When I finally arrived at the rescheduled time, the dental hygienist attempted to perform the cleaning—someone I had not scheduled with.

I explicitly requested Dr. Marty when I made the appointment, and Jeanette, the receptionist, assured me he would conduct my assessment. Yet, upon my arrival, I was told my appointment was not with him. Despite their clear mistake, the staff offered no apology, no effort to rectify the situation, and no accountability for the confusion.

I've been a loyal patient of Dr. Marty for years and have always spoken highly of him, but this experience was a profound disappointment. Both Dr. Marty and his office staff failed me on this occasion, and their lack of professionalism has left a lasting negative impression."

Martin Wong and Wong Family Dentistry are fantastic!

I needed a dentist badly and suffered in need of a tooth extraction and with gum disease for 2 weeks as I looked for someone I could trust. I recently lost my job and really needed help.

Fortunately, I found great dentists in "Wong Family Dentistry" and know I have to keep them. He booked me as an emergency appointment and I needed it. The dentist (Martin) was outstanding. His demeanor was calm and comforting allowing me to relax a bit. He was detailed as he explained everything I needed to know up front. He was patient and answered all of my fearful and curious questions. I felt zero pain and was very impressed that he clearly kept an eye on my reactions to avoided any discomfort. He took his time and was kind. As I sat in his chair I no longer worried and fell into a state of comfort and trust. I felt respected and was given outstanding care. His hands were gentle and the procedure was easy. He was nice enough to take an extra step and cleaned teeth in need. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Trust is so important in a dentist and this office has mine. I was so pleased that I actually tipped him!

I absolutely LOVE this dental office. I have never had an unpleasant experience there since becoming a patient in 2014. I am Dr. Stephen Wong’s patient, and he truly is heaven sent. I had several issues due to not having dental insurance for quite sometime, and he was honest and gave me different options which has proven to be the best in the long run. I never felt as though they were trying to add on unnecessary treatment just to get my money/bill my insurance. Also, all of the staff are so sweet and very professional. They dont have all the fancy, high tech dental equipment that I’ve seen at some other offices, but they have the best patient care that I’ve seen thus far. I HIGHLY recommend this office.

Dr. Martin Wong is perhaps the most gentle and professional dentist I’ve ever met. He always makes sure his patients are okay during dental procedures. His staff are also very friendly and helpful. Also, I can never forget when they took me in as a new patient the same day when my previous dentist and other dentists I have contacted are having me wait for days for a dental emergency.

Booked a last minute cleaning here prior to getting my braces on. They were VERY flexible and VERY accommodating in letting me come in half an hour after I had called. It was amazing! Dr. Michael Wong was also very thorough, a conversationalist, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole cleaning. I definitely recommend this dentist!

Dr. Martin Wong has been my dentist for more than 15 years. Although I moved to The Tri-Valley part of the East Bay since 2005, I continue to go to Dr. Marty for his dental care. His professionalism and thoroughness of care is so worth the long drive and traffic. He takes his time to explain and show me what and why he does what he does. I tried going to other dentists for just teeth cleaning right after I moved far from his clinic, but I missed the efficient and personalized care that Dr. Marty and his staff gave, so I went back and not going to change dentists for as long as I can stay. I was so scared to go to the dentist especially since I haven’t been since I was a kid. I needed to get my wisdom tooth pulled so I tried Dr. Wongs office. They took me in as a new client during the pandemic and the extraction was quick! The staff will make you feel like you’ve been going there forever. I definitely recommend this office to anyone! You will never have to feel self conscious about your teeth here. Trust me, they’ll take care of you! Just went back in today for a second extraction
