Had a root canal done with Doctor Dean this morning after a surprise abscess appeared on a tooth. I was very anxious because I had an awful/painful experience with the one and only root canal I had prior to this. His administrative staff, Christina, Stephanie, and Erica were all very helpful and accommodating. Sandy, the assistant that worked with Doctor Dean throughout my procedure was very kind and put me at ease. Doctor Dean was hands down the best endodontist I have had the pleasure of working with. I've never had less pain or discomfort during a dental procedure, including the numbing shots(I am very needle phobic) I literally didn't even feel that. Very impressed with Doctor Dean and staff. Would recommend to anyone that needs an endodontic procedure.

P.S. was also able to go back to work, right after the procedure, again, with no pain or discomfort!

To a lot of people the word root canal, means pain. However,
I had two root canals done by Dr. Dean, a few days ago, and I would
like to recommend him to everyone. I must confess the drilling required during the the procedure, is not too pleasant, but it is a small price to
pay for saving a tooth, or even more than one tooth. My own dentist
had recommended Dr. Dean to me, so I already knew, that I would be
having the best care possible. Dr. Dean and his assistant Virginia
worked in sync, expertise and harmony. They were kind, and caring
and made sure that I was comfortable. I am sure neither one of them,
enjoyed the fact that my teeth had to be drilled but then again, they
were thinking of doing everything that had to be done, to perform
the procedure and perform it well.

If one could apply the words master craftsman to an endodontist.
those words would describe Dr.. Dean. My visit to him helped to save
my two front teeth. What could be better than that? I also
want to add, that I did not have even a twinge of pain after the procedure
and I truly find that amazing.
Five stars, and they are so deserved.

I found Dr. Dean's office on line and was impressed by the Web layout and how it spoke to those who may have dental fear or anxiety about dentistry, like myself. I was very pleased by his calm, professional, and confident demeanor. I had a tooth that has always been quite sensitive. The Dr. strategically approached this condition successfully and I had a completely painless procedure. I am very thankful and would highly recommend his practice to others. The office is rather welcoming and calming and I felt like an important visitor more so than a number or business client.

First off Dr Dean isn't a bad Endondontist but my last experience from the first one was completely different. Seems he now double or maybe triple books patients. Came into numb me and then was gone 45 min before he came back and started my root canal procedure. He then seem to rush through the procedure and then was gone and on the next person prbly waiting around like I did. Next day woke up with excruciating pain and called his office about it and the lady who answered the call said it was normal. I explained to her I have had root canals before and never had it feel like this. She said every tooth is different. Anyway, I gave it a few days and it was still hurting pretty bad so I called again and then they prescribed antibiotics. After five days of pain, I called back again and they set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. My call was on Friday... so basically had to wait another 4 days. The next day the pain was so bad I couldnt sleep. Called and since it was a Saturday an answering service paged Dr Dean and he called me back. We talked and he prescribed a different antibiotic. Went back in on the Tuesday and Dr Dean basically took another X-Ray and said everything looked good and to keep taking the antibiotics. He said it could be another tooth that needed a root canal. I looked at him said no way and left. A good root canal should not need antibiotics in the first place when cleaned and disinfected thoroughly. Anyway the pain did subside after about two weeks but still questioning everything and the trauma I went through. On top of that, my insurance wasn't covered. Be sure to check your insurance as he does not cover Delta Dental anymore. I was not aware of this and the lady name Erika said I would get a check back from my Insurance, which was a lie! Ended up paying $1700 for a procedure I could have gotten done for $350 using a PPO dentist. Partly my fault for not checking myself but overall one of the worse experiences I had with dental work.

This is not a review, merely a clarification of the 1 star review. Martha Riddle was not my patient. I checked our records and I have never seen her. I'm sorry she had a bad experience at our office but it was not with me and I'll leave it at that. My partner, myself and our team do our best to treat all patients with care and compassion and try to exceed their expectations. We do our best but it is not easy and unfortunately we can't please everyone. Thank you to everyone who has supported our business and to all the nice reviews! You are what make our practice a joyful place!

I was able to see Dr. Dean the same day I was referred to him by my regular dentist and I also went back on the same day for the treatment! Everyone was helpful and caring. The dental assistant even called me the next mornig to see how I was! 5 stars well deserved!

Most unfriendly office I have ever been too. Dr didn’t introduce himself to me walked in and I had to ask to meet who was working on me. Office reminded me of a “money gruber” very rude unfriendly and the tooth still hurts. Find someone who has compassion and cares. He sure doesn’t only interests in the money!

These guys know what they are doing. I came to their office with the most terrible toothache I had in my life and a very swollen cheek.... As soon as Dr. Dean and the very caring nurse, Jennifer, started their magic, I felt better straight away. Believe it or not, I even took a nap while they were helping me and this should explains it all. Highly recommended. Well done, Ibrahim
