I was a patient here as a child around 15 years ago. I was going to get two cavities filled. The staff told my mom it shouldn’t take more than an hour and did not inform her of them giving me any sedation for the procedure. Also, they did not allow parents back at the time and I’m seeing from reviews that they still do not. I truly believe this is for a reason and not a good one.

From what I can remember, there was absolute chaos in the back where the kids were. There were kids physically fighting each other and nothing being done about it. This terrified me as a kid. I was laid down on a table with a movie playing above it. I remember feeling super weird and falling asleep a few minutes into the movie. After the procedure I woke up and light headed and not right. They brought me back to my mom and sister. My mom said this took almost 4 hours and when she would ask what was going on and if she could see me, no one could tell her and no one would let her back. They did not inform her of them sedating me but she could tell I was not myself once we got in the car. She took me to Wendy’s to get a frosty since my mouth hurt and I was upset. About 30 minutes later I threw it up. She called the clinic and they had no answer for her but said nausea can be normal. My mom never took my sister or I back to this office.

As someone who is now in my 20s I think about this often. Why did it take so long? What did they give me? What happened when I was knocked out? I remember almost everything from that day- to the movie that was playing and the color of the chairs. But I do not remember anything after I knocked out. I have gotten a cavity filled since then as an adult and know that this experience is not normal and should not be normal. As this was 15 years ago, I was hoping things have changed. However, after reading the other one star reviews, it does not seem like things have changed. This is something I think about almost every day and need to share it. Parents please think twice before bringing your kids here.

Great friendly atmosphere. Brought my daughter here an she was nervous for her first time at the dentist an they did a wonderful job marking it an enjoyable experience for her. Would highly recommend. Everyone’s care an concerns am making the process easy an smooth and going over everything

Mom of three here and I must say my oldest two have been going to Dr. Tarver and Dr. Scheps for years and every appointment has been nothing but positive experience! When my youngest started coming we noticed she needed dental surgery and I was an emotional wreck cancelled the appointment so many times just because I wasn’t comfortable with her being put under anesthesia, but both doctors and their staff changed my mind when they sat me down to explain the process and reassured me that my daughter would be fine and also that it’s going to be their staff and doctors no outside physicians. I would 100% recommend to other parents.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The front desk reception girls are some of the most incompetent people I’ve had the displeasure of interacting with. After calling to schedule an appointment and verifying MULTIPLE times that they accepted my sons dental insurance, taking time off of work to make the appointment, and taking my son out of school early, I get there to find out that they actually do not take his insurance. So the lady that answered the phone, who verified multiple times that the insurance was accepted at their facility, should really find a new profession because she obviously doesn’t understand how insurance works. To try and make this trip salvageable I asked how much it would be to do the exam and cleaning out of pocket. They said it would be $263! For a cleaning and exam! This place is a joke and their staff is completely ignorant. After this experience I wouldn’t trust them to do a routine cleaning for my son, let alone any dental work.

I've been coming to Dr Bopp since I was a child and now my kids are under his care! I loved this place as a child and the vibe is still the same. Always had great friendly staff, they make the kids feel comfortable and at ease about getting dental work. All all around great place!!

I took my son in for his first dentist appointment this week. This is the best place for your children. They're patient, kind, understanding, and very helpful. My son wasn't scared at all and had the best time! If your kid's are ready for their first appointment or any dental work, definitely bring them here!

Been coming to this office since I was a kid when Dr.Bopp was in practice and my kids have been coming here most of their lives. Dr. Tarver treated my 2 yr olds teeth and did a wonderful job!! I recommend this office and it's atmosphere to anyone!!
