We had a great experience for our very first dentist appointment for my son. The hygienist was very patient and calm interacting with my nonverbal child. I couldn't ask for more! Technically they do not accept my insurance, but they will submit to my insurance anyways to see what is covered (out of network).Most dentists don't do that! I'd be happy to pay out of pocket for my son to be so well cared for.

Does not take into consideration each individual patient and their tolerances. Had a great initial checkup, my child was as happy as a clam and in no way nervous. So much so that i took pics and videos as i was so proud of him. Went to schedule for his cavity procedure and they would not book us because i refused to give my child a small sedative to "calm him down" and make their jobs "easier". As i am uncomfortable giving my son ANY medication he does NOT NEED. When the lady up front , Jessica- who was definitely unpleaseant and obviously judgmental at our initial checkup and even more so on the phone, spoke with the hygienist about the possiblity of not using it. The hygienist then lied and said my son was a good patient but VERY nervous. That was not true! I have pics and videos of how comfortable he was. I know my own son. I asked if i could speak to Dr. White, and Jessica flat out said No. Instead of doing their job, they prefer to give kids who dont need it unnecessary medication and an extra 120.00 charge to the parents as no insurance covers the medication. Such a terrible experience. Pumping drugs to kids who dont need it. Ridiculous. Also, the reviews about how rude the front desk recptionist, Jessica, is VERY true. Dont believe us. Go see for yourself, our initial check up she wouldn't smile at me not once, a young single mother of color. Yet, when a well to do white lady and her kid came in, it was all smiles. Don't think I didnt notice that, Ms. Jessica. What a waste of time on a half year to year long waiting list.

Great office and great dentist! I have two daughters who love to see Dr. White. I know this office cares about my children from the moment I get out of the car and see their names on the birthday cupcake board on the front door to the hugs and smiles they get from everyone in the office. The office is bright and cheerful and extremely clean. The entire staff makes you feel as if you are their only concern. They take time to talk to you and answer any questions you may have. Dr White talks to my girls and makes them feel very special and important. They listen to what she tells them and they talk about it on the way home. My girls would go to see Dr. White and her staff every week if they could. I appreciate all that this office does to make my girls love brushing their teeth. If you are looking for a great office look no further. My girls could not be any happy anywhere else.

I was a patient from ages 3-17! I have always loved going to Dr. White's office to get any and all of my dental work done. I love the hygienists, especially Ms. Sharon! They all have a great sense of humor, a lot of patience, and are super friendly! Dr. White is very passionate about her work. It is a strong Christian environment! I would recommend anyone taking their children to see Dr. White for any dental needs!

This is the COOLEST office I have ever been in! When it was time for my daughter to visit the dentist, I asked around and did my research before making her first appointment. She was a bit apprehensive about going to the "tooth doctor" for the first time. I have to admit I was a little nervous too. Everyone I asked recommended Dr. White and her staff. I am so glad I chose Dr. White's office!!! The enviroment is perfect for all children, big and small. They have an animal themed office which my daughter was amazed with. The staff is phenomenal. The front office was all smiles and very informative!! Other places I have been just hand you tons of forms to fill out then give you a bill and rush you out the door, but these ladies explained everything to me and were very nice about it. Dr. White and her hygeniests are so gentle, PATIENT and friendly! Dr. White HANDS DOWN is the kindest doctor I have ever met. She patiently answered all of my many questions and was very thorough. This is a very talented staff and you can tell they love what they do! My daughter was all giggly after leaving and said, "Mommy, I love Dr. White." We went in as nervous nellies but left feeling HAPPY! She & I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend this office!!!

This dentist does not allow parents to go back with their children which is concerning. I have a responsibility to my child to oversee and protect her. For this reason we will not be returning but will find another dentist that is more parent friendly.

My experience with this DOTHAN Pediatric Dentist has been a nightmare. I have a great CIGNA DENTAL health plan. In Feb this office cleaned my son's teeth and determined that he had to have extensive dental work, the majority of it being 3 crowns on his molars. I have 2 other children that have never had a cavity and are already in ortho. After the pre-treatment plan was sent to CIGNA for approval and I wrote a personal check in the amount of $1167.40, so I could "schedule" all his work. They charged me on FEB 19,2013 for a regular scheduled visit that insurance always pays. On March 4,2013 I received a "new" Treatment plan in the mail saying that my "new" balance is $1286.00 and I would owe $249.60 after insurance and was a total different treatment plan than in Feb 2013. (this is not counting what ins. pays) What started as a normal "cleaning" visit has turned into a money laundering nightmare.The DMD sent and employee to personally "cash" the check for $1167.40, we thought it was rather "odd" ... Yes, that should have been a big red flag! The dental office charging me for a regular cleaning visit, and then "credit" me back, should have been a big red flag!

I have made several attempts to get this DMD to refund my money to no avail. The staff are trained very well and give me all the right excuses for me "not" to receive my money I actually paid in good faith. I personally do not doubt the services offered, but check your invoices and treatment plans! It is constantly more money and changing the treatment plan for services NOT needed.

The sad part is most people pay it and do not question it. When I did question it, they spoke to me as if I was completely incompetent, I have 9 years experience in private insurance and billing.

For those who know me, know I just want my child's teeth fixed!
