I deliberately travel twice as far as one might expect to receive the superior service and expertise in this office. I'm not going to put my dental health in the hands of anyone that's not qualified in a superior capacity.

My son and daughter both got Invisalign with Dr. Perkins. He was very thorough with the process. My children were very consistent with wearing their Invisalign, so they were able to get it off in less than a year. They are both ecstatic with their results.
Along with Dr. Perkins being an excellent Orthodontist, his staff are amazing, especially Julie. She answered all of our of questions and has wonderful customer service skills, which is hard to find nowadays. If you are looking for a new dentist/orthodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Perkins and staff.

I flew from my current home in Maine to Los Angeles to have Dr. Perkins perform his magic on 14 of my teeth at his office in Malibu because I didn't trust anyone else with my smile. I have a besutiful smile but my lower teeth were decaying due to chronic dry mouth from medications I need to take. A local Maine dentist tried to convince me to let him pull ten of my lower teeth and four of my upper teeth and get implants but I refused, and had my x-rays sent to Dr. Perkins, the only dentist I trusted to be honest and perform the highest quality dental work. Dr. Perkins reviewed my films and told me he believed he could save my teeth and install crowns and fillings instead. A couple weeks later I flew out to California and in seven days Dr. Perkins did 10 crowns on my lower teeth and filled the decayed areas of four upper teeth, saving ALL of the problem teeth! He worked on my teeth for many hours, all the while making sure I was comfortably numb. My new crowns look amazing, the margins are perfect, and I am completely pain free. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Perkins for making this possible. I will not hesitate to fly another 7000 miles round trip if I need any more serious dental work in the future.

Dr. Perkins is amazing! My 9 year old son has always been very scared of going to the dentist but Dr. Perkins was so patient & answered all of his questions! My son left very happy saying how funny & nice everyone was there.
He used a palatal expander to help move that front tooth that was stuck behind his lower front teeth & in less than 6 months that tooth had moved forward! I am very pleased with how quickly it happened & the great service Dr. Perkins has to offer!

Dr. Perkins is a truly gifted cosmetic dentist. I would recommend anyone see him for full mouth reconstruction, veneers, TMJ, crowns, anything you need. He addresses the root cause of problems and isn't just a "tooth mechanic". Worth the drive from LA even if you live 2+ hours outside of Malibu. Shout out to staff too like Julie who is always so kind and easy to work with.

His knowledge of dentistry and specifically jaw issues is so clear when i first spoke with him. His charisma, levity and bedside manner put me at ease and I am usually terrified of dentists. He developed a treatment plan for me and communicated clearly all interventions and procedures in layman’s terms which made me so confident going in. Once he completed my procedure I noticed immediate improvement and weeks later I feel like condition will only improve. Truly changed my life! I can not recommend Dr. Perkins enough.
