Excellent staff and service. All procedures were explained in detail, with staff and Dr. Smida making sure I understood the procedures and answered all questions I had. I highly recommend Dental Care and Wellness of Sonoma County to everyone. Dr. Smida and staff take all the anxiety out of visiting a dentist 🙂

What a great experience! I have had plenty of experience with 'regular' dentists and after today, I will never go back! It was wonderful to talk about healing my daughters mouth and she also found my 8 yr old had a tongue and lip tie that nobody caught before.

Never felt better about seeing a dentist. I left knowing that I am truly being taken care of by an intelligent woman who knows health well beyond dentistry. Her assistant, also, kind and taking interest, surprising me with information and connecting me to pieces on my healing journey. Their skills are offered with kindness, respect, and compassion. I am new to the area and was looking for a dentist for my family and I with a more health conscious philosophy and someone who could give me another option besides having a root canal. I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND DENTAL CARE AND WELLNESS!
The first visit in this office far exceeded my expectations. Not only were all my needs addressed but I learned quite a lot. Dr. Smida and her team are caring, professional and go above and beyond to put patients care and holistic health as their #1 priority.
I will be going back for a bone graft and to get a metal-free implant placed, not to mention I was able to get ozone therapy, can get my husband a Night Lase treatment for his snoring and my children will be going back soon for their cleanings.
This office is amazing!!! I look forward to going back.

After two horrific appointments with two separate dentists, I was at a loss and sickened by the treatment my sixteen year old had received after she explained her desire for an all natural, Floride, and BPA free TX. The we’re mean, and refused to help find alternatives. Thank goodness my search led us to DENTAL CARE & WELLNESS OF SONOMA COUNTY. There are alternatives out there, and good ones. I recommend them to anyone seeking quality and considerate care. Thank you our new dental team.👍🏼

I had my first visit with Dr. Smida today. My current dentist in Marin County, who I love and trust, referred me to Dr. Smida in Petaluma so I could explore more options for treatment. I have an implant that has developed bone loss around it, and Dr. Smida has the Laser Technology and expertise that I am very hopeful will restore the bone loss without any invasive or painful procedures. The office is easy to find, welcoming, and her staff is professional and friendly! I am additionally thrilled to discover that, not only does she have all the latest technology and is current with all the latest in dentistry, Dr. Smida has a very holistic approach to health and dental care, which is very appealing to me.

My friend recently told me of being badly scammed at this office. I'm a dental student and it sounded almost unbelievable to me, because that would put a practice out of business pretty quick. So I did some research, and looks like care had been taken to hide many of the bad reviews. Look up the 40+ hidden reviews on yelp. Also you'll soon notice the 5 star ratings just could be from the staff members. The hidden reviews on Yelp describe fraud, false advertising, scams, rip offs and worse. Beware, people, and do your research before putting your health (and in this case - wallet) on the line.
