I feel so fortunate that my husband and I found Dr. Pokras here in Westlake Village. During my first very visit to his office, I had to undergo a complex dental procedure involving a double root canal. Yet from the moment I met Dr. Pokras, his relaxed and gentle manner put me at ease. As a health professional myself who works with patients, I can share that Dr. Pokras is that rare doctor who combines expert skills with the most attentive patient care. I cannot recommend Dr. Pokras, his professional and friendly staff, and the entire Southern California Endodontic Group enough. I wish I could offer more than five stars in this review!

Beautiful office! Imagine walking into a spa. The friendliest, most accommodating staff. They make you feel welcome. Dr. Pokras is very gentle, patient, explained every step of the procedure, listened to my concerns. I have never had such a pleasant and easy experience at a dental office. The actual procedure took an hour, felt even less than that. Absolutely painless. Highly recommend the office and the doctor.

Painless and extremely proficient is the best way I can describe my visit with Dr. Pokras. I went in knowing that a root canal was needed from the advice of my dentist. The tooth had split down to the gums and I had been in agony for 3 days. It turned out that I needed 4 in the one tooth area.
From the moment I sat in the chair to the end of the procedure, I was in complete comfort.
I actually caught myself drifting off to sleep, through the procedure. Pain Medications were prescribed if I felt any changes, but I found that I didn't need them.

The staff were very kind and sincere.
Dr. Pokras and his office deserve the highest of recommendations.

I was referred to Dr. Pokras in August of 2018 by a dentist that treated me refusing to give me any pain meds, when I had problems with a root canal that I'd gotten many years ago. The injury was pretty severe. He and ALL of the staff was so compassionate and gentle with me acknowledging my pain and verifying the injury. The right side of my was swollen and just huge. Dr. Pokras was shocked that the referring dentist has not acknowledged my pain.
The referring officer had treated me like a junkie begging for drugs. It was humiliating.
It turned out that the tooth could not be saved and doctor Pokras got his staff in high grade and they found an office near me that would except my insurance and remove the tooth within the hour.
I only wish Doctor Pokras could be my general dentist. He and his staff are a 5 star class act.

I needed a root canal. Apparently I was a very difficult case. Dr. Pokras was wonderful. He made an unpleasant experience bearable. Dr. Pokras and his staff were friendly, informative and genuinely nice people to work with. I recommend him highly!
