8/25/22 Update. If I could add a star to make it 6 stars I would!

First let me say that Grace was able to move my appointment for a crown replacement to accommodate me loosing my insurance. I know this was a juggle for them but she made it happen.

Dr. Lapidus walked me through every step of why my crown failed and what me might encounter as he removed my cracked crown. I love that he always let's me know we are walking this journey together with him as my Sherpa.

The rest of the experience was...dental work, not my favorite form of enjoyment but paramount for good health. Dr. Lapidus is kind and makes sure to ask if you need a break during the process. His assistant is also very kind.

If you're looking for a great dentist, please consider this practice. You won't be disappointed!

If I ask for a price in advance of a future procedure, they always oblige me. Dr. Lapidus is always professional and takes time to explain my x-rays. He's very proactive, giving options for how/when to address any potential work that needs to be done. Dr. Lapidus is "hands down" the BEST dentist EVER. The entire staff is amazing and so kind. Dr. Lapidus has had the patience of Job as he has sweetly sat next to me while I have a full on melt down multiple times, as his dental hygienists have also had to wait out my melt downs as well. I have a severe dental phobia and Dr. Lapidus has been a saint as he has continued over the years to assuage my fears with his gentle, kind chair side manner. He has never shown any judgment or been impatient with my nervous reactions, unlike many other dentist I have seen in the past, Dr. Lapidus has been a pro at calming my nerves and distracting me with his funny stories and jokes. He has a very calming demeanor and a great voice for getting me over my nervousness. I've recommended him to many a family, friends and coworkers over the years. Each one that actually went to see him came back thanking me, with glowing reports of how sweet and wonderful Dr. Lapidus is along with his excellent staff.

I’m so happy I’ve found Dr Lapidus. He’s great, and also has a fantastic hygienist. Heather gives the most thorough and comprehensive cleanings I’ve ever had. But she’s also extremely careful and gentle, so it isn’t painful. I also appreciate how willing she is to share her extensive knowledge about how to make your teeth healthier. It’s not the normal lecture about flossing. Instead, it’s practical advice that you can actually use. They’re the things that no one else has taken the time to tell you about, but make a difference. Thank god for the dentists & staff in this office!! I had been experiencing intense tooth and jaw pain for a week with no luck from other health care professionals on what the cause was. I saw 1 other dentist and 1 endodontist (twice) before I was referred to Dr. Lapidus. I was actually mainly treated by Ivan Lapidus, the father of Daniel Lapidus. Within 10 seconds of looking in my mouth, he was able to identify a periodontal abscess. FINALLY! Someone knows what’s wrong! On top of the quick discovery, Dr. Lapidus was so warm and empathetic, seeming to actually listen when I described my pain and even more so after realizing the pain the abscess had been causing me for the past week. He took the time to explain the care I would need to provide for healing/recovery. Dr. Daniel Lapidus was also helpful and kind, and the front desk staff women were extremely kind! When they heard I would be graduating from Cal Poly in just one week, they emphasized how important getting this mouth problem fixed was. After not so warm and compassionate experiences with the previous dentists, it was a breath of fresh air to finally feel listened to by a group of health care professionals.
