I had my first visit here today. Dr Mozayan is fantastic. He was thoughtful, walked me through the process we’ll be taking and he’s also extremely funny!!!! The assistants and receptionist were also super kind. Never thought I’d say this about seeing a dentist- but, I’m actually excited for my next few appointments there!

I enjoyed my time with Dr. Mozayan. I had an implant done, and it was a breeze thanks to him. He was very knowledgable, thorough, and mixes in a bit of humor. He was also very good about following up and communicating with my primary dentist. Hopefully, I won't need another implant, but if I do, I will gladly revisit Dr. Mozayan.

In my experience with Dr. Mozayan's office I had top quality work in all aspects. The staff was very knowledgeable and the clinical treatment was excellent. I didn't have any pain with my procedures and the communication was thorough. I had surgery to prepare for implants which were all successful. The was anesthesiologist was very competent I highly recommend Dr. Mozayan's office.

Dr. Mozayan is an implant expert. I've had excellent results with the implants he's performed. I trust him and I always consult with him for any serious dental condition. So does my husband. We've been Dr. Mozayan's patients for years and have never had any complaints. I strongly recommend him.

Dr. Mozayan does good work, seems to care for his clients. Office staff another matter, made appointment over the phone, showed up and was informed that my appointment was not until 11 days later. I work with numbers, I don't make stupid mistakes like that. Had planned to be out of town on the date they had me scheduled. Will have to skip my trip thanks to this.

Getting a second opinion from Dr. Mozayan was a great decision. He is amicable, knowledgeable, and his technique during my procedure was extremely competent.

Unfortunately, sometimes cellphones do not work. We loose calls, messages do not come through for days, if ever...I would hope that all of us with cell phones understand this. I had a procedure set for a Thursday, a prescription was called in for my on Monday. I was supposed to take it for 2 days prior to the procedure. I was not made aware of this. I did not get the message, the pharmacy did not notify me. I was only made aware on Wednesday when I received a reminder call for the next-day appointment. When I explained that I had not gotten the prescription, and would not be able to pick it up until right before the procedure, Dr. Mozayan said that it was still "OK". What saddens me, and compels me to leave this review is that when questioned, he said I had fear of dentistry (which is true) and that I was cancelling my appointment out of fear (which was not true). I said that I was uncomfortable not following protocol, and that I really did not get the message about the script or would have taken it. He lit into me on a personal level, telling me I didn't care out his practice, his time, etc. When I told him I was a physician and really did understand, he balked and said that everyone runs their practice differently.

I feel this doctor said what he needed to in order to have his schedule full. I felt incredibly uncared for. AND HE TRIED TO MAKE IT MY FAULT! MY FAULT! THAT I WOULD NOT TAKE UNNECESSARY RISKS WITH MY HEALTH to keep his schedule full. He threatened me with a fee of over 500.00, which I would have paid if not for the tongue-lashing he gave me over my "fear" and his refusal to reschedule me. He insisted that I call back to reschedule. Instead, I went to a doctor that seemed to care about me, his profession and his integrity.

I understand professional courtesy. I understand cancellations. I hold myself and my patients to a very high standard, but...to insist on proceeding with an appointment when it is not in a patient's interest is beyond me. The fact that he was willing to take chances with my health, rather than reschedule me so I could follow protocol, gives him less than 1 star.

He runs a practice built on catering to people who fear dentistry. I feel that he is burnt out and does not care.

I had a tooth ache so Dentist Max Ebrahimian, in Scotts Valley, took a complete gum probe measurement and complete x-rays at a cost of $210. He recommended that I see Dentist Cyrus Mozayan for second opinion. Dr Mozayan also took my complete gum probe and looked at Dr. Max's x-rays. "The tooth needs to be extracted" he said. I do not understand the need for the second gum probing when Dr. Mozayan had Dr.Ebrahimian gum probe results and x-rays to review. Dr Mozayan,s office visit $180.00.
Total: $380.00 just to find out I needed a tooth pulled.
UPDATE: A 3rd dentist found a broken tooth under the crown that neither Cyrus or Max Ebrahimian found.
