Dr. Lai and his team is amazing at what they do. I felt at ease the entire time during my visit. He took the time to explain the condition of every tooth and performed a very thorough examination of my dental health. He explained every step of the procedure, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed throughout.

Dr David and the staff do a great job of informing you of everything they are seeing in an exceptionally digestible way. Before coming here, I've never been able to visualize exactly where and why the dentist is saying I need to brush better in a certain spot. They also explain what they are seeing in gum health and lets you know of potential issues on your teeth and showing pictures/videos.

Beyond that, the staff is very affable and the perks of being able to watch movies/shows while getting your teeth worked on is fantastic!

In addition, a classmate from High School (Sharina) is the Patient Care Coordinator, which is a big plus. My first appointment was very thorough, and even revealed some hygiene issues I had no idea existed. And the office staff is super friendly! I highly recommend their dental practice!

my old root canal was infected. the infection was eating the bones surrounding the tooth. had it extracted last wednesday expertly by my dentist dr. lai. loving this practice. every team member tries their utmost best to make the potentially unpleasant scary tooth procedures to an easy breezy no big deal situation.

The billing is awful. $3000 for single teeth extraction. Also extra time to recover. Not recommended at all.
Generic cleaning also costed from own pocket instead of being fully covered by insurance. Never happened with another dentist before.

The dental hygienist was equally kind and professional. She puts me at ease during my visit and explained everything clearly. She is very gentle, thorough, and makes sure I am comfortable. It always feels like I'm at spa wherever I get my teeth cleaned.

The doctors are amazing! They are knowledgeable and genuinely interested in my oral health. I appreciate that they take the time to explain everything, from how to read the x-rays, give reasons why they recommend certain treatments, and educate me on how to take care of my oral health.

I am so fortunate to have discovered this place and will be recommending this practice to everyone that I know. Being in healthcare myself, it couldn’t be more clear that Compass Dental Arts is passionate about helping the patients they serve.
