I would give this place zero stars if I could. The care from the nurses is great, but the doctors and administration are out to take every dollar you have. The urgent care at the bottom of keystone will try and get you to get surgery there, if you can drive down into Denver and find someplace that will actually give you costs up front and not rush you in for a supposedly emergency surgery you should do that. My had a national average of 8k but it was 130k here. Let these people rot.

I broke my ankle last week and my husband brought me to their ER. I have no words for how well taken care of I was. The staff were all phenomenal and my care team (Leigh, Hailey & Dr. Sakumura) were angels! We were in & out within an hour - completed X-rays, fitted for a boot and crutches! Albeit unfortunate reason for the visit, it was a super experience!

Amazing ER staff. Nobody wants to get sick on vacation. Nothing but amazing service starting with the front deck,to nurse Katie (she deserves a big raise),Dr. Michael K. to the X-ray tech. Everyone was first class professional people, and you could tell they enjoy helping people.

Let me start by saying we were on a family reunion vacation in Vail Colorado. When I needed medical care as a result of altitude sickness. I quickly looked online for the closest hospital. Val was listed having a 24/7 hr emergency department. However, you cannot walk into the facility as you have to travel by ambulance to utilize his services.

We drove to Frisco Commons Spirit Saint Anthony Hospital and checked into the ED. Everyone from the reception to the nursing staff and the emergency doctor was fantastic. Dr. Tranovich was exceptional and kept checking up on me throughout my ED visit. I can't say enough good about the care we received in the emergency department here at Frisco. Thank you for your help!

DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM! They will milk you of all your money, by fabricating a points system that makes absolutely no sense! I am beyond frustrated and horrified at the fraud in the billing Department at this hospital!
I was visiting Colorado, and the first day there I got Altitude Sickness. I borrowed Oxygen from a neighbor, so by the time I came to the Emergency room my Oxygen levels were pretty good and I walked in on my own two feet. The Doctor there confirmed that it was indeed Altitude Sickness and started me on Oxygen. She said, that being that my vacation was only 3 days, it didn't pay to start any treatment, and she recommended that my best bet was to leave to lower altitudes. She then called in a second doctor for a second opinion, and he came in and agreed with her. They left me with a prescription for Zofran and I left.
A few weeks later I got 2 bills that together equaled $8,532.85, after insurance I owed $3,643.09!!!! Explain!! I did not get IV, did not get an X-ray, CAT Scan or MRI. I did not get stitches, break any bones or have Surgery!! I did not need an ambulance or require any assistance!! How in the world did they have the audacity to charge thousands of dollars for telling me to go home!!! They claimed that there is a point system and that the fact that I had 2 Doctors in my room for over 30 minutes put me in a higher bracket - Lies!!! They were in my room for a few minutes and one probably called the other 'for a second opinion' just to be able to bill more!
I have spent the past few months trying to reason with anyone who would listen, but there was no one to talk to. I had my account sent to be audited 2 times, and each time they came back with the same answer, that there is nothing for them to do.
My next step is to file a complaint with the Department of Banking and Insurance.
I am writing this review to try to save people from months of misery and bills that are corrupt and incomprehensible! They are targeting innocent people on vacation who have nowhere else to go, charging them insane bills for services that they fabricate, hoping insurance will pay for it. But if you're like me and have large deductibles, you will be left with unaffordable and unjustifiable bills!!

STAY AWAY!!!!

I can't say enough good things about this hospital. My 3 month old baby wasn't breathing right so I brought him in. The PA diagnosed him with a mix of RSV and altitude affecting him poorly. They brought in the respiratory therapist (Ryan I believe) who was incredible and helped my son clear his mucus and got him on oxygen. The doctor on staff that night was very thorough and helped us figure out what to do. Ultimately it was to go back down to Denver elevation but the care we received was 10/10. Very grateful for the staff.

If you’re in need of care, I wouldn’t recommend this hospital. The nurses were incredibly dismissive and lacked basic compassion. My husband was uncontrollably vomiting and clearly needed assistance, yet they treated him like an inconvenience rather than a patient in distress. He was throwing up all over himself and received minimal help. It was upsetting and unacceptable.

One star because they got us into a room quickly. First triage nurse was good, but the room wasn’t stocked with anything so he had to leave a couple times to retrieve things. The room had trash on the floor. There was no privacy curtain - just glass doors so we were on display. Other people’s hair on the hospital bed sheet. The doctor came in and excused some of my son’s symptoms as having to do with the altitude, but we live nearby…… She then used her CELL PHONE FLASHLIGHT to “observe” my son’s throat… what. Then, they ordered some tests and a second nurse comes in and immediately begins talking about “shocking” a man’s heart so be patient. We never said or did anything to show we weren’t being patient. There was no reason for him to tell us that information, especially in front of my son. He came in already wearing gloves, but then proceeded to touch everything in the room with the gloves on and then did the tests on my son with the same gloves. They left the oxygen finger thing and blood pressure cuff on him after taking his vitals. They never said they wanted to keep it on for monitoring so it seemed as if they forgot? Not sure.
