Dr. Witcher is the best oral surgeon in San Diego area… I fell and broke my skull resulting in breaking two molar teeth that subsequently needed a lot of damage repair. Two other surgeons were not able to get the amazing results he helped me achieve, because they were not able to get the bone grafts to work.

He did a sinus lift to rebuild the stability, bone grafts that did amazing and placed two titanium implants to help me regain my function in my mouth.

Do not hesitate to trust your oral heath with Dr Witcher and staff. His skill is second to none. I had to have three very old ( two infected one broken) root canals removed. Zero complications and feeling so great to get them out. This office has the proper equipment to include the proper software to identify your issues. The doctor goes over in detail your options. No rushing and very understanding. Obviously I am very impressed. Thank you!!!!

From the moment I walk into the office I am greeted by friendly staff. They make me feel very welcome. It is a very pleasant experience overall. Dr Witcher performed a tooth matter extraction surgery on our 8 year old son in Aug 2022. Dr. Witcher, the staff, nurse, and outside anesthesiologist were all very professional and did a great job of calming our son's fears prior to and the day of the surgery. The doctor was calm, confident and we appreciated his communication style. The extraction surgery went perfectly. Fast forward to yesterday, and we went back to Dr Witcher because our son has multiple 6 year old molars that have failed to erupt. I felt compelled to write this review because of his approach. He spent close to an hour with us comparing 3d X-Rays from past and present. We never felt rushed. He answered all of our questions (and our son's questions). At this point, his professional opinion is not to do surgery and that he is going to connect with our ortho and pediatrician and work through some additional tests that we may want to consider before deciding on next steps and a longer term plan. The nurse & office staff are also fantastic - engaging and very competent. Solid experience.

Dr. Witcher and the entire team at Coastal Oral and Facial Surgery have been so wonderful to me throughout my tricky dental implant experience. The situations that usually bring you to a place like this aren't great, but when you have those bad dental situations, this is the place to be. They will listen and work with you through all your concerns, like if you have other health issues, or complicated dental anatomy, etc. Their imaging technology is amazing and ensures accuracy during surgery, but they can also show you 3-dimensional imaging on what is going on, and what will be done during surgery. They communicate everything very clearly and make sure you are comfortable every step of the way. Even post-op at any time you are able to text them and they will immediately respond. On top of that, they are all just so kind and caring to me and treat me like family every time I'm there. It doesn't get better than Coastal Oral and Facial Surgery! Dr. Witcher and the whole team here is THE BEST!!!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I didn't know that having teeth removed could be such a pleasant experience. It was actually my 15-year-old daughter who had her wisdom teeth out last month, but we hardly knew that she had surgery. Her recovery was without incident. I certainly don't remember my wisdom teeth extraction experience (a few decades ago) being so easy. Dr. Witcher is very personable and professional as is his entire staff. They were timely and very clear with instructions and expectations during the entire process. I can't recommend them enough. You might be able to save a few dollars somewhere else (I don't know because I took our dentist's word that he is THE guy to do the work), but I'm confident that what you may save in a few $$, you'll make up for in pain and frustration. Neither were had with our experience with Dr. Witcher or his staff. I can't recommend Coastal Oral and Facial Surgery highly enough!
