I highly recommend this office. Not only Tomazin himself, but his whole team is incredible. The office itself is so nice and welcoming, ladies at the front desk are very knowledgeable and informative. I had a terrible infection from getting my wisdom teeth extracted at a different office. I was sent along my way by the oral surgeon and said everything looks good, despite the pain and apparent signs of infection. I was met with nothing but sincere concern and kindness from this office. The treatment plan and all the information from Tomazin was explained very well and it was apparent that they all genuinely cared about helping me. I'm so grateful to get quality care and be on my way to healing. I also have a few family members who have been here before and we all agree it's the best dental care available around here, hands down!

Today was my first appt and it was so great! The staff is amazing and friendly and SO helpful. I was very nervous when I first came in and Lenora was so sweet and comforting. Ashley was also very sweet and kind. Everyone was welcoming and very detailed in their explanations too. Dr Tomazin was awesome too! Very friendly and kind, super knowledgeable and very attentive. He genuinely cared about my concerns and my dental health and I learned so much from him! I honestly can't wait to bring my whole family in!

I also had a very bad experience with this office’s billing policy for new patients and Ashley's rude demeanor towards me. I will never go back to this dentist ever because of their horrible policy. For new patients, they do not call your dental insurance for preapproval before you are seen even though they knew I was coming in for exams & a cleaning.

I communicated with Ashley for at least three months before my appointment. I was trying to avoid from being blindsided with out-of-pocket expenses. I was informed by Ashley that because I was a new patient, she would not call my insurance to verify my coverage, and she would not give me an estimate as to how much I could possibly pay out-of-pocket. Other dentist offices do this for you even as a new patient. I do not understand why this office could not do the same.

Instead, she gave me procedure codes so that I could call my dental insurance on my own. Ashley had given me two exam codes and yes, my insurance would cover both a periodontal exam and a comprehensive oral exam, but my insurance would not cover two exams in one day which is what I had done at this dental office.

My insurance would also not cover full mouth X-rays if they have been done in the last three years of which I understand as a normal practice. I later realized that in one of my emails with Ashley, there was a one-time disclosure that mentioned insurances may not cover full mouth X-rays if they have been recently done. If you know this could be a possible issue, why not ask me again when in an email or ask me about this when I am in person before proceeding to take a series of full mouth Xrays? Am I supposed to have enough knowledge and whereabouts to stop the assistant and ask, "Wait a minute, are you taking a full mouth X-rays?"

I was billed $350 for expenses that could’ve have easily been avoided if only this office would have called for a preapproval like other dental offices do. I was billed for the most expensive comprehensive exam because my insurance only covered the periodontal exam, and I was also billed for the full mouth X-rays because I had them done within the last three years.

When I received the bill like a month later for the $350, I called and spoke with Ashley over my bill. I was obviously very upset because what I tried so hard to avoid ended up happening. I asked Ashley why no one stopped to ask me about the X-rays and why did they perform two exams on me in one day knowing this could be an issue because if one insurance company practices something, good chance that many of them have the same practices. Ashley told me how she was supposed to know that my insurance only covers one exam per visit. I also asked her why I was not asked about the X-rays in person especially when they know this could be an issue. She did not have an answer for me.

Ashley was very rude to me instead of understanding that I had a right to be upset. She could have offered to drop one of the charges, especially the Xray charges because they took them without talking to me first and explaining the situation. She had a raised voice and sounded more upset than I was, “I’ve already apologized, what else can I do?!” How about remove the charges, or at least remove one of them, because this was a result of your office’s bad practice.

I will never recommend this office to anyone, and I will never go back after the way I was treated.

I’ve struggled with major dental anxiety for nearly 20 years. I explained my anxieties to Dr. Tomazin and his assistant on my first visit. I asked that they note my chart of my concerns so I don’t have to give it energy/attention each time. His staff did just that. Now, five visits later, I am ACTUALLY enjoying going to my appointments. Dr. Tomazin, his staff, and hygentist, Gemma, are amazing! The office is nice, clean, and the environment is calm/peaceful. I am beyond impressed with this dental office and recommend anyone who has similar dental anxiety/phobias to give this place a shot. 10/10 recommend
