DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. SCAM. I moved to San Diego and found them online. They did xrays and the dentist came in, looked at my teeth and said I need 6 fillings, between refilling old cavities and new ones. They also told me I had bad gum recession and needed to see a periodontist. I get regular dental care and have never heard this. I just went to my home dentist for a second opinion and he said I need NO FILLINGS and NO PERIODONTIST. He said there was no sign of gum recession. They also gave me an extremely hard time transferring my records to a new dentist, probably because they knew the new dentist would find out they were trying to scam me into unnecessary
care.

Worst dental experience of my life! I booked through Opencare because I was looking for a new dentist that accepted my insurance since I moved. I booked a routine cleaning and check up.
I was expecting them to do a deep cleaning and of course take X-rays of my teeth but instead a Nurse just took my X-rays and I had a (doctor) come in essentially tell me I had 4 cavities and that I need separate deep cleanings. WHAT? I never had that in my life. I was expecting to then do the deep cleaning but instead, they took me to an office room WHAT? They then told me their dental hygienist was fully booked for the day and told me I would have to do separate appointments for both sides Never have I heard of this in my whole life of going to the dentist. Then they told me I had to do separate appointments for the resin fillings on all 4 of my teeth? Why can’t you do it all at once
I canceled my appointments over the phone and was given a bad attitude by the woman working the receptionist who hung up on me.

This place is a scam! Im going to get a second opinion. Beware and save your nickels on a reliable and trustworthy Dentist practice. This isn’t it.

Dr. Hegde is the best dentist. I receive better care from her than any other dentist in my 30 years of dental care. She's very warm and caring and has a very delicate hand. She has a way of doing injections that makes it so that I have no idea what she is doing. I have been a patient of hers for almost 7 or 8 years. I recently took a family member who received such great care that she couldn't believe it. She told me that the whole office staff was the best ever. I agree! The location is classy and easy to access as well. Dr. H is famous as well. She travels all over to speak at conventions and she is a real force in forging the path of modern dentistry. She's an innovator and integrates current, up to date technology in to her practice whenever possible. A true gem!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hegde's for almost 20 years. I love her and her staff and would highly recommend The Center for Dental Health to anyone who is looking for a great dentist.

Recently, I broke the crown on a front tooth. I texted Dr. Hedge on Sunday to see if she could squeeze me into her busy schedule. She called me immediately and arranged for me to come in to fix the tooth. She even offered to give up her lunch hour to accommodate me. Her staff was able to schedule me for an overdue cleaning and Dr. Hegde repaired the tooth. It looks perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about this awesome lady. She is one of the top dentist in San Diego. She is friendly, professional and most of all, a perfectionist when it comes to her work.

Best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Hedge and her office care about their patients like no other. They only do what is needed and charge very reasonable prices, while being gentle and kind people. As someone who suffers from PTSD, this dentist has been a godsend. I get very anxious when in dentist offices, and they were very understanding and thoughtful to the way they approached their procedures. They made me feel as comfortable as they can, and I can say I'll be coming here for dental work for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!

I've been going to Dr. Hedge office for about 14 years now and I've always been satisfied with the care I've received for my teeth. The staff is always warm welcoming and the hygienist (Christina) is the best. I've been a long time patient because I'm really picky about who works on me. Growing up, I've had my share of dentists so I know who I'm comfortable with and who I trust with my big pearly whites. Dr. Hedge is the kindest and most talented dentist I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. I'm known for my smile and I wouldn't trust any other office with it. Go see her and her staff to get the best care you'll receive for your dental needs.

I had a wonderful experience with my very first visit to this dentist office (referred by a longtime patient). From the front office, to my x-rays, to the exam with the doctor herself, and my fantastic hygienist (Cristina), everyone was friendly, thorough, thoughtful and safe, and I left there feeling so glad I made time to check in on my dental health that day. Also their office is right off the freeway and has garage parking, so extremely convenient. I'll look forward to coming back for my next visit in 6 months. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Dr. Hedge and her team are wonderful. I've been going to them for over 12 years. I have comfort in knowing that my dental health is in good hands. They recommend treatment when necessary and don't pressure you to have optional work done. Dr. Hedge is very gentle with her procedures and I feel like my fillings are always top notch!
