After trauma to my front tooth, I was absolutely terrified to get an implant. I was scared of the pain and the chances of it not matching the tooth next to it. Dr JANSEN reassured me the entire time that I would be very happy with the outcome. He completely exceeded my expectations. Not only was he super comforting and communicated throughout the entire process, but him and his team did an incredible job. My tooth matches the tooth next to it, and I could not be happier. Dr. Jansen is an incredibly talented Prosthodontist and an all around amazing person. After a fainting accident last year, where I suffered major trauma to my teeth and mouth, he was able to make me look better than I did before the accident. He was always very kind and respectful, and he checked on me constantly. Every time I saw him he would call me that night to see if I was in pain and how I was doing! He also checked on me weekly for months as the process was a long one! Talk about going above and beyond. He made an incredibly tough time in my life much easier by the way he treated me. Everyone comments how natural and beautiful my four front teeth look now that he finished working on them. I absolutely love the way they look.

Frank, is another one of my favorite people. He is a perfectionist, just like Dr. Jansen, and the color and shape of my new teeth is perfect! On the day they cemented in my final crowns, Frank was there to make sure I loved them. He took me outside to take pictures in all different lighting. I was even lucky enough to get a picture with him. He is the best and a true artist.

Maggie was with me through most of my appointments and she is funny and always made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous most days I was in the office. She took such good care of me and was always doing everything she could to make me comfortable and relaxed. She also knew I loved the chapstick they had and would always send me home with a few extras.

Vicki and Veronica are incredibly professional and patient. They also called to check on me throughout my treatment and always greeted me with a warm welcome. When they had appointments that cancelled they would call me to see if I was interested in coming in earlier than my scheduled appointment.

I was lucky enough to get a cleaning by Julia after my crowns were cemented in and she is also wonderful. We instantly hit it off and I’m sure she is like that with everyone. She is so kind and didn’t make me feel bad for not flossing while I was on vacation. She was gentle and my teeth felt amazing when she was done.

This is truly a one of a kind place. If I didn’t work in real estate, I would want to work here with Dr. Jansen and his team. Not once was I treated with anything but kindness. I was always warmly welcomed with smiles and hugs. I can’t recommend Dr. Jansen and his incredible team enough.

From the moment you walk in the staff is so friendly and inviting. The dental assistants/hygienists, are so patient and kind they make you feel so taken care of.
Dr. Jansen is the best. The work that he has done for me is beyond words, I finally feel like I have my smile back!

“Superlative in every detail” is my description Dr Jansen’s office and staff.
A full set of upper and lower implant teeth were installed in a way I felt to be perfectly done and so so comfortable.
Dr Jansen, Dr Yellich his surgeon, the aides and each staff member were a joy to work with in my many visits to the office.
It was technically careful work with complex measurements, the art of tooth making, and with an expected void in my sinus bones—but it is all past now, and I am left with the stunning result. I paid up front for all the work. For the additional operation I was charged a small amount, only at the bare cost.
Previously, I had never imagined that I could have a trouble-free set of teeth!

I needed a crown installed and it was a difficult installation requiring a prosthodontist: Dr. Curtis Jansen. However, I have had dental phobia for quite a long time. My blood pressure shoots way up before the dentist even enters the room.
Jansen was very approachable, reassuring, and communicative, with a great sense of humor in the midst of my anxiety.
Every step in the process he informed me of what was coming next and asked me how I was doing and how I was feeling.
Moreover, just as precise, proficient, and controlled as Dr. Jansen is, his office staff is as inviting, warm and welcoming as the patient enters the front office.

One curious event that happened–taking Valium for my anxiety–actually raised by blood pressure which is a paradoxical reaction to a mild sedative that is supposed to lower it. Dr. Jansen alluded to the fact that my response might be anomalous and contrary to what is an expected reaction. I appreciated and verified that my blood pressure rose astronomically after taking ½ of a pill. So I went without for the second part of the procedure and was fine.

Four hours after the placement of the permanent gold crown, Dr. Jansen called me to follow up on how I was doing. Quite impressive! Definitely CEJ Dentistry is the top prosthodontics practice in Monterey County. Dr. Jansen is an exceptional prosthodontist and I am absolutely relieved I followed up on my general dentist’s referral.
