I took a Pendleton wool blanket here for cleaning after a bee started to make a hive on it. The blanket was returned to me folded to hide a giant hole that had been ripped in it, and the honey was still on the blanket.

I went back and gave the owner the opportunity to make it right, and got a condescending talk about a number of instances he made up to make this my fault. First, he made up that I brought in a ripped blanket (which his staff interrupted and then he changed course), then how the blanket was so old it was ready to rip and I did this to get a free new blanket from him, and finally that I should have known his machine's metal cleaning pieces would do this. When I asked him why he didn't just tell me the blanket was not a good fit for cleaning when I brought it in, he said he didn't want to get into what should have happened...unless of course it is him telling me what I should or should not have done. Of course, the blanket was in excellent condition, was not old, was not falling apart, and should have easily withstood ordinary cleaning measures. I was also very irritated that the blanket was folded in a way to hide the damage. It felt like that was very intentional choice to hide the damage from me.

He gave me my $20 cleaning fee back, but did not offer to replace the blanket. I told the other customers in the store not to leave their items in their care and I felt pretty escalated after my fancy expensive blanket was completely ruined and I was gaslit by the owner--who appears to do this so frequently that his own staff have to interrupt his lies.

I saw that this owner is pretty aggressive in responding to peoples reviews on google--nothing is ever his fault. It must be sad to be him and to be so fragile that you can't take responsibility for your mistakes. Regardless, I wouldn't trust his company's services with anything of value, and I wouldn't trust his staff or him to tell you what the dry cleaning machine can/cannot handle before taking your materials, and I wouldn't expect anything but more lies and blame-shifting if they make a mistake. I imagine he’ll respond here too, further attempting to degrade my character or share his “confusion” at my review, as he has for every other negative review.

However, sir, I challenge you to look in the mirror, take responsibility, and do better. You were given an opportunity to make this right, and you did not. You lied, and you escalated, and you shifted blame. I want you to be successful—take this opportunity and apologize and grow. You deserve it.

Edit: Unfortunately not surprised to see a review where the owner continues not to take responsibility for his damage, but surprised to see that the manager was willing to lie (or the owner was lying on her behalf.) I remember the person who waited on me because I pointed out the honey, and said,”it’s over here as well” to which she said “I can see that.” I remarked to several people afterwards that I was surprised the person waiting on me did not try to engage in any interpersonal niceties, but of course that’s not a crime (like damage to property is). I was not told it could damage my blanket, and I definitely did not say “do your best.” However, even if I did, that wouldn’t mean tear a hole in my blanket, fold it to hide the damage, and lie to me about it.

I’m glad you mentioned yet again what poor shape my blanket was in, because now this picture will be even more useful…clearly this was not a blanket on its final legs except for the large hole you created. You can also see they failed to get the honey off the blanket with the yellow stain on the bottom right….or I suppose the owner will come back to say how this was always here, this is not his fault, this is new, etc.

And yes, bees deposited some honey on the blanket, and that is my fault…but if you as a dry cleaner can’t get honey off a blanket you should have the integrity to warm your customers or dignity to make it right after. You’ve repeatedly done neither.

Very sad, but unsurprising, you’re unwilling to own the damage you’ve created.

I brought in my daughters wedding dress that had been heavily soiled on the bottom from outdoor pictures and weather - we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The Carousel team treated her dress with such care and attention to detail. It looks absolutely beautiful again. Their skill and dedication is truly impressive. We are so grateful for the amazing service and highly recommend them to anyone who needs special garment care! Thank you Carousel Cleaners.

I needed a suit dry cleaned and my pants had a pretty significant hole near the pocket. The tailor told me he could try his best but didn’t guarantee perfection, which I found acceptable. When I got my suit back the hole was completely sewed shut and they charged $10. Super fair! Thank you!

They lost my clothes. They damaged another. And they treated me with open disrespect. This wasn’t a one-off mistake — it was a complete breakdown in professionalism, service, and basic decency. Here’s what you need to know before using this dry cleaner:

I dropped off multiple items. Two went missing. I gave them my phone number — the same one printed on the ticket — and they still couldn’t find them. When I later returned with the physical ticket, they suddenly “found” everything. They claimed it was confusing that me and my husband both have names on our account there, but I had given them both of our names and our phone numbers…

Next, like others have mentioned, I experienced the worst customer service I have had in years. I followed their process, stayed calm and respectful throughout. The front desk employee, Jolene, was openly rude and unprofessional. Everything I said, she mocked back to me like a 5th grader, mimicking me, rolling her eyes, making hand gestures, and then got other employees there to also chime in and mock me. When I left, after talking to the manager she said “Bye Bye Karen” without any provocation. The manager witnessed the whole thing and did NOTHING. No apology. No accountability. I asked him if this is how he thinks clients should be treated and he said he didn’t know why she disliked me so much but that’s how it goes with her sometimes. Then he offered to tell me a blonde joke to lighten the situation, which I declined. I just want to be a person treated with a normal amount of human respect, not stereotyped.

Lastly, one of the items was returned with a hole. The explanation shifted multiple times: first moths, then moth eggs, and finally the manager said their cleaning solution dissolves the fabric if moth eggs are present. Given we’ve never seen moths in our home and it is professionally treated, I can only guess that the contamination happened at their facility since he said he sees this all the time.

Even with the lost and damaged items, I would have given them a pass. But it’s the level of abusive behavior to their customers that seems to be acceptable to the manager that lost my business. I wouldn’t trust it with yours either.

Dropped garments with two days notice before our wedding. Was assured by the team they would be done on time (paid for rush even though two days is not rush in my opinion) and when I called and asked about the status I was treated like an absolute piece of trash. Paid almost $200 and a bunch of basic shirts and dresses were COMPLETELY wrinkled with stains still on them upon pickup. Did not open until I got home, and by then I had to leave for our wedding, so I couldn't return. Didnt bother trying to call for help to be treated like an ass again by the staff.

To the workers, if you don't want to work, please save us all the trouble and go home or learn some customer service skills. It's a shame because the owner is clearly a hardworking man.

I have used the Carousel a few times now, and it’s always been smooth. They have solid prices, and a 2-3 day turnaround. Great place.

Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this place for alterations. Every item I brought had something missing or incomplete, though the work that was done was great. Cal is a lovely human, too, who I really enjoyed talking with and getting to know. If you know exactly what you want, make sure it’s written down, and call to verify the work is done before picking it up, you’d likely have a great experience.

1. I brought in a bridesmaids dress to add a stitch to a very high slit and add bra pads. The stitch was completed but the bra pads weren’t, so I had to come back later to have these added.
2. I brought in a jumpsuit to have the ties removed, which were done perfectly. I also asked to have the straps sewn on permanently instead of buttoned on and adjustable, and that step was missed.
3. I brought in a swim cover that had a slit that went too high. Initially we discussed shortening it into a shirt. Then, we decided to instead sew part of the slit closed, which I verified was written on the tag. When I showed up, they couldn’t find it and I had to come back the next day, and the manager kindly told me it was ready. Unfortunately, the tailors forgot what we settled on and cut it into a shirt instead. The manager Mike has been great to buy a replacement dress for me, but it was sad to need to do this.

I did bring in one dress that was altered perfectly, but I would struggle to recommend the work here
