I love Dr. Bancroft and her staff! She does top notch work and it’s always a painless experience in a warm and comforting environment. She provides a clear explanation of the work she is recommending and why she is recommending it and shows me photographs of my problem dental areas. I find this very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Bancroft.

Dr. Bancroft was wonderful! I had an initial consultation to discuss various dental issues that I have and she was knowledgeable, thorough, experienced, and she explained everything that I should consider.

The office has state of the art equipment and it impressed me since my previous dentist could not provide half of what she could.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating, making a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them!

Just moved to San Diego and was lucky enough to find Dr. Bancroft through my new neighbor. All the staff is very friendly and caring. Dr Bancroft is excellent and sensitive to the fact that dental work can be stressful. She has a wonderful demeanor and is extremely skilled in what she does. I recently went to Dr. Bancroft’s office for an Invisalign consult. I’m so glad I made the choice to come to Carmel Valley Dental. Dr. Bancroft & all the staff in the office were so personable & went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed & comfortable. I had the most awful experience with this dentist, and I would never recommend them to anyone. I went in for a routine checkup, and they told me I had 13 cavities—yes, 13. I was in shock and honestly, I cried because I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. But instead of comforting me or helping me understand what was going on, all they cared about was showing me payment plans and figuring out how to get as much money from me as possible. It was so clear that they were more interested in profits than actually providing care. I also was told they took my insurance which they did not! What they were charging me was insane.

After seeing multiple other dentists for second opinions, I ended up only having 4 cavities, not 13… HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They are all about the money and not about your well-being. I regret ever stepping foot in their office.

I just want to start by saying that the whole staff is super nice and welcoming. Dr Bancroft is amazing by explaining everything and the assistants are really nice! After my exam I had a cleaning with her hygienist who is so prepared and gave me lots of tips to clean my teeth. Super grateful that I was able to find an office like Carmel valley dental! I can wait to come back in six months
