Dr. Jones is always very thorough yet efficient. I have been going to this office since well before she took over the practice, and have been very happy with her service, expertise and advice for many years now. Dr. Jones provides very personal service even performing the cleanings herself, which seems to be an anomaly this day in age. Any chance I get, I recommend her to friends and family.

Do not use this dentist office. They will scam you. The first time I was assigned to them, they referred me out for a root canal, and when I came back for my follow up appointment to have the crown placed, they informed me they were no longer accepting my insurance and would not finish the procedure. They couldn't have called to let me know in the week following my root canal, before I actually drove across town for my crown appointment They also gave me a sob story about how little the insurance company reimburses them for the procedures they do, and it's just not worth it for them to take those patients. That's great, but not my problem, don't complain to me about how you aren't making enough money off my teeth.

A year later and I had new insurance, which had assigned me to this same office. I was willing to give them a second try. I scheduled an appointment for x-rays and possible fillings. They contacted my insurance company to get the copay amounts. They quoted me $100 per filling, and $500+extra fees=$640 per crown. When I called my insurance company to confirm the copay amounts, I was told a worst case filling would never exceed $85 per filling, and crowns are $60, plus a possible $205 for "elective procedures." They said there is no way the amounts the dentist was quoting me could equal what my benefits actually are.

When I originally balked at the $100 filling copay amount, the front office lady gave me the exact same sob story about the insurance company not reimbursing them enough and they aren't making any money. Once again, not my problem! If they aren't happy with the negotiations they are making with insurance companies, don't make the contracts in the first place!!

What it seems is happening is that the dentist is charging me above and beyond my copay amount in an attempt to make more money. I'm so glad I double checked my copays instead of trusting what they said the insurance company told them before I had my crown done. As it is, I'm now waiting for a reimbursement on the fillings they overcharged me for. So frustrated at being treated this way. Please choose a different dentist, I know I will be.
