The receptionist doesn't understand simple things. I have dental insurance. My husband and I pay for it every week. This office is the first generalist dentist listed by my insurance. They said 100% they are in network. The receptionist REFUSED TO USE MY INSURANCE.
She wanted to bill me straight for all services even though I have insurance that I can use. I don't mind paying my copay or coinsurance. That is not the problem. The problem is that she knows she is in network with my insurance and still won't accept me as a patient unless I come in WITHOUT insurance. That is purposefully charging someone more for no reason. How does that make sense?
And for her to yell at me over the phone like she did? WOOOOOW! I wonder how desperate this office was to hire someone who is rude like that. I hope they get her in line soon. Just because she doesn't want to do her job doesn't mean she needs to pop off at potential patients. My dental insurance is blown away that a receptionist actually has the nerve to refuse an IN NETWORK patient. WILD!

Best dentist I've found in the area to take my 6 year old son. Shelly has been our hygienist and she is phenomenal! Very personable and she is amazing with my son. Dr. Burness is also great! The office is always clean and inviting and we've never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I wouldn't think of taking him anywhere else.

I’ve been seeing Dr Burness and staff since 2000. This is the most gentle dentist I’ve ever seen. The staff are professional and friendly! They have always been very helpful when I’ve had a dental emergency! They are also very caring, I had surgery for cancer and they called to check on me! I’ll never forget that! Love them all!
