Dr. Hejlawy was excellent. I highly recommend him. I was not sure what to expect with a root canal but I was put at ease. Him and his assistant seem to be very efficient. I came in for root canal treatment for two teeth and it went wonderfully. Thank you again

This was one of the best dentist I have ever been to, they take their time to make sure you are comfortable. They ease your pain, take away your fears and everything gets done in a timely manner. The Doctor builds up a good rapport with his patients and I loved the fact that he took interest in me taking care of my brother who has cancer. I really appreciated that! Dr. Samer Hejlawy is a wonderful endodontist. He saw me on Memorial Day for an emergency root canal. I was visiting from out of town for the holiday weekend and he was able to work me into his schedule (thanks to Dr. Ana Antoniu). The procedure was 45 mins and I didn't experience any pain during the procedure. The entire staff was wonderful and followed up to make sure I was doing ok after the procedure. I feel so lucky and relieved to have found such a wonderful endodontist.

I went in for a root canal on a molar. They were able to get me scheduled in very quickly. When my date came, I was taken in and everything went very smoothly.

I was referred to Blue Oaks Endodontist yesterday by my dentist for a root canal on a molar. I am extremely fearful of dentists, hence the reason I needed a root canal. I met with the secretary after leaving my dentist who was extremely knowledgeable about the procedure and she was great at answering all my questions and easing my anxiety. She squeezed me in the following day (wow)! If it weren’t for her and the conversation we had, I would have scheduled an appointment for a later day and gotten too scared to go back. I arrived today for my appointment and was greeted by the same sweet girl. I was immediately taken back to an X-ray and then a room already fully prepped for my procedure. The Dr. Went over my medical history thoroughly with me and also eased my anxiety. Both him and the assistant working with him had an incredible amount of patience with me and my anxiety and made me as comfortable as possible. The assistant helped my fears by explaining everything they were doing (as I requested) and even told me what I might hear or feel. I wish I could remember the names of the secretary and assistant because they both helped me and my experience and made it more than a root canal. I know my dentist is literally the best and he would only refer me to the same, so I had full faith in the office and the doctor and his ability and he came through. Thank you so much Dr. Samer and staff for helping make a terrifying experience a good one. You are appreciated 🙂

My daughter was seen for an emergency consult on a Friday afternoon following an acute mouth injury from a fall while ice skating. Dr. Hejlawy was absolutely amazing in every way. He treated us both with kindness and compassion and his work and professionalism is beyond compare. The entire staff: Rosie, Chelsie, Keneisha & Michelle were so welcoming and helpful as well. My daughter's tooth work had to be coordinated along with a delicate stitch repair to her lip, which required the work of another specialist in town within a narrow frame of time. Dr. Hejlawy immediately assessed her injury and formed a plan, which allowed us to then see the specialist across town for completion of the stitch repair. He then braced her tooth and gave her medication and instructions for the weekend. He completed the root canal, Chelsie assisting, with precision early Monday morning. She will see him for a follow-up in a couple of weeks. We are so grateful to Dr. Hejlawy and everyone at Blue Oak Endodontics for everything they did to help us in this emergency situation.

If you are a patient who fears all of dentistry then this review is for you.

After a nightmare scenario of needing a crown on a cracked, angry tooth, I started to have bad spontaneous pain. My excellent dentist Dr. Claudine Yu (a very caring professional) referred me urgently to see Dr. Samer at Blue Oak Endodontics. She reassured me he was someone who would only do necessary work and had the reputation of being very caring as well.

Dr. Samer saw me the very next day and confirmed I needed a root canal. As I sat crying about it, he checked his schedule and was able to do the procedure immediately (he does a lot of work on an emergency basis apparently!) so I didn’t have to dread it and take non-stop Tylenol for weeks awaiting intervention.

I can’t imagine saying good things about a root canal because seriously it’s a ROOT CANAL, but working with Dr. Samer was a pleasure. He is very gentle and patient and validated my feelings, which goes a long way when you’re embarrassed and terrified. The work was thoroughly explained also - why I needed it and what would be done using my own X-rays to explain.

Also, the staff were professional and kind, insurance was reviewed and explained before work began. The environment was calming and peaceful.

I genuinely hope I don’t have to go back, but if I need another root canal I won’t go to any other place.
