Be careful with this doctor. I wish I had read all the reviews and posts before going — there are many reports about people feeling overcharged or not getting what they expected. Do your research and make sure you understand all the costs and details before agreeing to anything!

After an online consultation with Dr. Bueno (250€) regarding my Lyme infection I was advised to have a thorough body and blood examination (5800€) before starting treatment to evaluate my current state and plan the treatment accordingly. I asked multiple times for the expected costs of the future treatment, but they weren’t able to provide ANY estimate at all, saying that each treatment is customized. In my opinion there should be an average cost after apparently treating Lyme patients for 20+ years, so you can at least know what your treatment might cost you and plan accordingly. Nonetheless I decided to start the examination. Since I live in the canary islands I was advised its best to personally visit the clinic in Madrid to take all the samples in a day and have the results ready in 3-4 weeks. After booking my flights and hotel, just before the examination payment, I was notified that I had to pay another 80-100€ to send stool samples from 3 different days which I will have to do at home. Yet the reason I am flying to Madrid is because THEY advised me not to ship the testing samples as from canary islands the shipping can take weeks with customs. Now they say I should’ve booked 3 days in Madrid, and its my fault. Yet their emails clearly said ‘come here for a day and all tests can be done, after 3-4 weeks you’ll have the results ready…’. 30 minutes of arguing how it was my fault, yet only after saying I don’t want to proceed with treatment they started offering solutions, actually realizing that with their advice I wouldn’t be able to provide all the required samples. Money thrown out the window, zero signs of empathy towards the patient, yet I am ment to spend a fortune to be treated for months if not years at the clinic… the feeling I had in my gut from the first moment was confirmed in the first minimal conflict, it’s not about the patient but only about the money.

It is clear that Dr. Bueno at Biosalud is extremely dedicated to treating Lyme disease and other chronic illnesses. He is very knowledgeable and his clinic offers the most innovative technology in Spain, and in Europe. I’m finishing my first week of detox and immune boosting treatments including the INUspheresis treatment. I couldn’t be more impressed. The treatments are not cheap, but it is what it is. It doesn’t mean it’s a rip off as I’ve read some of the reviews. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. But I am pleased to know that there are doctors seeking treatments that can help patients and that Dr. Bueno isn’t treating patients with conventional methods that don’t work but continue being used to treat Lyme in hospitals. It’s a breath of fresh air to have more and more alternative treatments and future thinking doctors in the world. This gives us options to choose from when conventional medicine fails! The only treatment that was not 5 starts was the colon-hydrotherapy. I am used to 1 hour sessions, which I feel are more complete cleaning and at Biosalud the 15 minutes were not thorough enough. It didn't relieve gasses neither did it clean out the colon entirely. For this I give four start, however overall I am happy with the service and thankful I made the investment. Was treated for a year for a very costly treatment with hardly any improvement. Exceptionally disappointed! Would highly recommend the Lyme association support group in Madrid Alce-Espana that provides the necessary competent lab and medical services

After a huge improvement with a german Ilad's clinic I had a relapse and was convinced to go to Biosalud as I thought they had a good approach on guts etc. I spent 16 000 euros of medical costs for 2 weeks at the clinic for pain treatment and detox only, and testings (8000 euros). This is way more than what I paid before. Most importantly, I came back WORSE than I came. The pain was much increased by treatments I did'nt bear well, which was denied by the clinic. I have enough experience in Lyme treatments to know this is not normal and is different from my usual symptoms. No one spoke a WORD of english in the nurse team which is shocking for a so called international clinic. There was NO nurse at all on tuesday as they all share time at the clinic in Madrid. They aren't focused on Lyme, they do many things that bring money like anti aging and help to procreation etc. They claim to be the best in the world for everything which is humanly impossible and should have been enough to warn me. For the 2d hospitalisation they asked 23 000 euros !! The therapy rooms are underground without any windows. They give me dangerous restrictive diet without any kind of advise/support. Added unplanned costs kept coming up which, new tests before to come, and then while I was at the clinic I was asked to sign aggreement for other coasts while under IV or else. They say they have their own Lymecheck but all my Lyme tests were done in labs in the US. There is NO LAB at Biosalud. They do activ marketing which doesn't reflect at all what I found there. I think this place is dangerous and a great loss of money. Unfortunately people like me are desperate enough to try it anyway. I hope my testimony might help you.

A fantastic team cocooning the patients making much, much easier the time spent in the hospital.
I don't speak spanish. It has never been a problem, the nurse speaks very good english and his assistant taking mainly care of me, too. We could exchange on any subject. Furthermore, the doctor, the pharmacist, the administration speak english. In several weeks, there was no incident due to my lack in spanish.
