I went into the E.R for an injury to my arm from a fall and debilitating lower back pain that arose after I had a uterine biopsy. I explained this to the doctor. I wasn't provided a proper exam or blood drawn. They were hesitant to do a urine test which came back negative. My lower back pain has since worsened to where I can hardly sit nor stand and brought to tears from pain. Over the counter pain medication and ointments do nothing along with ice and heat compresses. This is my 2nd visit to Banner where they have yet shown concern and lack of exam. I believe they are in violation of EMTLA. I moved here from LA and I'd rather wait 6 hours to be seen in LA than a short time at Banner and get little to no aid. Someone needs to investigate.

The worst billing department I have ever dealt with. Make sure you force them to go to through your insurance because getting a refund will be the longest process of your life.

I just needed to some lab work but website says 24 hours. I tried calling was on hold for 15 minutes. I tried logging into portal; it linked me to another lab portal that isn’t used at Lassen. We walked in because you can’t make appts for labs or Xrays. It took me two hours and 10 minutes to get my blood drawn, Even though lots the receptionist and those working in the lab, we’re just standing around and talking. I was late for work meetings because I was not anticipating the process taking so long. When I informed the front desk of the lab that I needed to go as I had a meeting. They gave me an unpleasant look and said I’m working on it. I would not recommend getting your labs here unless you have lots of time.

Dr. Reis provided exceptional care for my son, who is an athlete at Lassen Community College and plays men’s basketball. Unfortunately, my son tore his meniscus. Dr. Reis was incredibly hands-on throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way and went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. I was already planning to travel from Idaho to Susanville, California, for my son's sophomore night, and Dr. Reis was able to arrange the surgery during that time, which saved me from having to make an additional trip.
Dr. Reis continued to check in on his progress after surgery and was always available to answer any follow-up questions. It’s been just over 30 days, and my son is already about 80% recovered, which is impressive. I’m beyond grateful for the outstanding care and service Dr. Reis and his staff provided.
Living in Idaho made this situation especially challenging, but I truly believe that we couldn’t have navigated it without Dr. Reis and his team’s dedication and support. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Reis to anyone in need of top-notch care. He’s always available to answer medical questions, and I’m incredibly thankful for everything.

The staff at labor and delivery are nothing less than angels. My wife and newborn son wanted for nothing while under their care. Even after my wife was discharged and we had to wait for our son to be discharged, they still took care of all three of us. Thank you so very much to all involved with the birth of our son, Jasper!!!

I had to go to the er and then be hospitalized due to getting pneumonia and at first I was a little worried because I haven’t heard the best things about banner but I was so happy with my care the entire time. Every nurse who took care of me was extremely nice and caring, as well as responsive. They were always willing to help me in any way, including when I asked for any pain medicine. They also treated my husband with a lot of respect and care while he stayed with me and always made sure he was also comfortable and taken care of. I didn’t have a single bad experience with a nurse or doctor the whole time and they were very good at explaining things when I had questions. Overall I was very impressed with my care while here and definitely have a better impression of banner after my stay. Thank you!

Called the ambulance twice in a week for my mom because she didn't seem right a lot of confusion. Banner sent her home the 1st time without a urine test just guessed she had a UTI which she didn't. Two days later I knew my mom had a stroke her whole left side paralyzed she couldn't talk slurring words. Banner said she didn't have a stroke but they sent her to St Mary's and sure enough they verified that my mom did in fact have a stroke which was obvious we all knew she did except for the doctors there at Banner Lassen.

I went to Banner OB for a C-Section during the weekend hours with no OR staff and an on call locom, I can not say thank you enough to the hospital staff for the best C-Section, doctors, and the amazing nurses. I had the best OB experience than any before. My little man had breathing issues and they handled the whole situation with efficiency, care, and amazing communication. Again the best experience I’ve ever had, the kindest nurses that care and the doctors are something special.
