I originally went to Pearl Dental in Culver City and had a horrible experience. They pressured me to pay an exorbitant price for a service. Fortunately, I walked out and called Avila Dental. Avila completed the same service for half the price. The teeth cleaning was painless and quick. This was easily the best dentist visit that I have experienced. I couldn't give them a better recommendation.

Absolutely the best dentist and office staff.

Dr. Avila will take the time to personally explain to you any issues and options that you have. After going elsewhere that focused on excess intervention, coming here was a breath of fresh air. This office is honest and won't push you do to work that you don't need.

The office staff is also incredibly nice and helpful. They'll square away any issues with insurance and explain clearly to you what you owe.

Dr. Avila is gentile, kind, straightforward, and takes the time to explain any issues that he finds with you teeth. And he does a very thorough cleaning.
The receptionist (Malou) ensured that I didn't have any issues with my insurance. Can't say enough good things about this dental office!!!!

Dr. Avila is an amazing dentist, he really shows that he cares about your comfort whether is a tooth cleaning, implant, root canal, or wisdom tooth removal (I’ve had all of these procedures). The staff is always super kind and cool. 10/10 recommend to anyone who is new to the area and needs a dentist.

Dr. Victor Avila is a great dentist, both in terms of clinical expertise and also in terms of "bed side manners" -- he relates to patients in a friendly manner, he listens to patient's questions carefully and responds in detail, he is very patient to explain the procedures. At the same time, Dr. Avila has a fabulous team of support staff to help him take care of patients. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Avila and his staff providing excellent dental care in Santa Monica.

Dr. Avila is truly a gem. When he first took over from Dr. Yang, I was initially nervous. There was no need. Him and his staff are truly amazing and they really feel like they’re there just for you. The level of personal service is so good, it’s practically concierge dentistry! I smile every time Maloo calls me. It’s by far the easiest dental team I’ve worked with!

I have THE WORST anxiety going to the dentist and haven’t felt more at ease since my childhood dentist who no longer practices. I am SOOO happy that my sister recommended Dr. Avila. I had numerous fillings that needed to be done and others that needed to be replaced. It was painless and he communicated everything that needed to be done while it was being done.

Not only was I comfortable throughout the whole procedure and after the healing, he is completely honest and moral when it comes to procedures. Before going to him, I went to a different dentist who said I needed a root canal a crown and many other things. He looked at my X-rays and gave me his honest opinion about it all and determined that only fillings were needed.

I cannot give him and the rest of the staff anything but the highest of praise!
