Not to sound dramatic, but Dr. Dayan is changing my life. I’ve suffered with TMJ and jaw pain for the better part of 20 years. I initially thought the chronic pain and discomfort were from sports-related injuries and trauma to the head (which I’m sure hasn’t helped) but in talking with Dr. Dayan I’ve learned that not only do the issues pre-date my injuries, they’re reversible.

During my consultation with Dr. Dayan I said what I thought were some pretty outlandish and unbelievable things about how I was feeling (“I feel like my mouth wants to be wider”), and what I was noticing in my own body (“My jaw doesn’t seem to close properly”). At one point I prefaced a comment with, “This is going to sound silly, but…” and after explaining how I needed to retract my jaw in order to close it properly she responded, “That makes total sense.” It was in that moment I knew I was in great hands. I didn’t know what the next steps were going to be, but I knew I would be taken care of and that I’d be feeling better as a result.

I’m 7 months in to working with Dr. Dayan and the changes have been immense. My jaw pain subsided immediately as soon as I started wearing the Homeoblock mouth appliance. I even notice lasting results during the day when I’m not wearing it. My mouth has significantly improved and is noticeably less crowded.

Dr. Dayan is attentive, helpful, and extremely caring. Most importantly, she listens, especially when you think you’re saying something crazy. She is everything you want in a medical professional.

Dr Dayan is simply the best !! After visiting a string of mediocre dentists with solid online reviews, I arrived in her office last year nervous and skeptical, but her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. The more we spoke, the more impressed I became in her level of knowledge and broad expertise.

I appreciate her embrace of the latest technology alongside her holistic approach to treatments (oral health impacts so much of your overall health!), which I find so often excluded in the US medical/dentistry fields. Not only did she treat my gum disease with the latest and greatest tech (with results my dentist was extremely impressed with), she made sure my whole body was ready to heal and thrive in the future!

As for the two days of surgery - Dr Dayan had such a delicate hand, extremely mindful of my comfort throughout - honestly, for how intense the procedure was, it was less painful and more of a breeze than my regular dentist's cleanings!

Dr Dayan also goes above and beyond for her patients - has the best recommendations for all things dental and even shared some extremely helpful resources when she found out my friend had breast cancer. Dr Dayan truly cares about her patients and I look forward to each of our appointments!

Dr. Dayan is the best periodontist in Beverly Hills hands down. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Dayan. She is knowledgeable, kind and always puts her patients care first. I came in because my gums were bleeding and puffy. She first did a comprehensive examination of my gums and then recommended to me a laser disinfection that we did in the following appointment. Her laser targets the wavelengths of dark bacteria in your mouth to leave the healthy bacteria intact and leave you with bright pink healthy gums! I go back for my routine cleanings every 6 months with Dr. Dayan and I have never been more satisfied. No one pays as much attention to detail as Dr. Dayan and I know that I am in good hands when I go to Aurora Periodontal Care. Also, the staff is super friendly and communicative to make sure I was ready to go for my appointment.

Dr. Dayan is amazing! She helped me with my tongue and lip ties and my gum recession. All of them healed so well and I’m very happy with the result. She was so kind and comforting throughout the entire process and it was easy to trust her. I definitely recommend her!!!

If your gums are hurting recessing and bleeding, do your mouth and health a favor and go see Dr. Sharona Dayan. It was well worth the drive from San Diego to Los Angeles after my cousin’s recommendation as well as talking to Dr. Dayan over the phone to go ahead and do my gum graft procedure with her.
Dr. Dayan has the latest new laser technology to grow new gum tissue without cutting the pallet as well as steady hands and a great deal of patience. She loves what she does, she is great at it and it shows.
The recovery was very quick and easy. I’m glad I went with my gut feeling and chose Dr. Dayan. Will definitely recommend her to anyone I know who needs it.
