I had a disappointing experience with Aspen Dental. They are overpriced and attempting to charge unnecessary fees for unneeded procedures. They didn’t work with my insurance and misrepresented the process. I scheduled a cleaning, but only received a consultation. The lack of transparency was frustrating.

This place is a total scam. They will not be in business long. I see bankruptcy in their future and a lot of unemployed people. Aspen Dental stands for con artist. Do not waste your time here. You have been warned.

When I say WOW, I mean WOW?!!!!
My experience starting with the receptionist all the way to the chair was extreme excellence and top notch professional and friendly. I wasn't treated like another case or patient for the day my entire experience was WONDERFUL and that means a lot from someone like myself that has an overwhelming fear of the dentist. I can't remember the receptionist or the doctor I spoke with but beginning with the receptionist, Angela that took my dental X-rays, Danielle that access my X-rays and explained what I would need, to the doctor that gave me the lay out of my dental plan to Jessica the office manager mt , yes ten thumbs up. Aspen off Lakeshore is a MUST go to.
My plan has been so beautifully laid out both with the 3D technology (which will mesmerize your mind)and financially I am excited to get started even though I have a fear of ? ?.
But everything from the profile of my teeth to the cost and payment plan was paid out for me the same day. This ugly ? ducklin is going to be a beautiful swan. Now my mouth is going to match my ? swag.

The doctors, nurses, and hygienists were all incredibly nice and very non-judgemental about the state of my teeth. Definitely made me feel very comfortable, but also didn't sugarcoat what I needed to do better in terms of oral care. Pricing was also explained very well and I feel like I got what I paid for and wasn't bullied into paying for things I didn't need. Will definitely be using them moving forward!

As someone who has extreme anxiety with the dentist, I walked in with a broken tooth and was greeted with kind understanding personnel. I was in the office for almost 4 hours, and not once did I feel unheard, not being treated properly or that the dentist and staff did not care. I was very pleased with the level of treatment from everyone in the office!

I was and still am in severe pain because of a extracted tooth. I told them I was in alot of pain. They did xrays which hurt that tooth more. Dentist didn't seem to care about the pain I was and still in. I was told I needed a root canal. Then I was sent to billing. First of all I told them from the get go I had no dental insurance. Then I'm told for a deep cleaning, root canal and a bunch of other things it would be $20,000. Who can afford 20k especially when you have no insurance. This place is a joke! I spent over 2 hours there with no results and still in pain. I am taking the antibiotic I was given and tylenol and ibpruophen. My tooth is throbbing and in severe pain right now!! I just called back and asked again for something for pain. This time I was told I know what needs to be done and the dentist won't call me in anything for pain. Aspen dental in Homewood is only concerned about money and not the care of their patients! In the meantime I'm about to cry from this pain and looking for another dentist. Do not waste your time going here!

Great staff and friendly environment. The only thing that wasn't great is that the appointment had a lot of wait time between xrays, review of insurance and getting the work done. It was may have been an isolated experience since this is new office for me after moving to the area. Aspen Dental is still the place to go!
