Experience was HORRIBLE!!! Called and scheduled an appointment for cleaning. After being at the appointment for 1 hr. 45 minutes, I was informed that I would not get a cleaning during first visit, the cleaning is scheduled for 2nd appointment. The 2 hour initial appointment was for x-rays and other assessments. Would have been nice to have been told that on the phone. Walked out not a happy customer and will definitely not be back.

The worst place said I didn’t have an appointment blamed it in a lady that is working today. After my temp crow has fallen out everyday since having cause it was made to big. Then get back to room to have my permanent crown put in and the stop after working on my tooth and tell me I can’t have my permanent that I already paid for till I paid $700 for it. This place has been a nightmare stay clear I will not be back to this aspen or any other aspen. The front desk lady and the financing lady that takes you back to her room doesn’t know her job. The lady before her was way better.

Came in today to get new lower dentures. They put them in and checked the fit and adjusted on them till they felt perfect to me. Assistant and Dentist worked together in harmony. Very pleased with the outcome. Great place.

I came in with a toothache and left 2 less teeth but that's ok I no longer hurt. The only downside to the experience was when put that needle in that bad socket, I'm not going to lie, I about pissed myself. The entire staff was so caring and very helpful. The surgeon was great, please tell him TRANK YOU!

They were very professional, and they made me feel at ease. They made me feel welcome and really cared about me from the front desk all the way through the process. I am so glad I chose Aspen Dental for my dental needs.

I may have to backtrack on this review. I have a very important question for the office and need an answer ASAP…..last Monday!! I am unable to speak to anyone, even though I’ve tried to call multiple times without success. Today (8/15/2024) I called, and I am still on hold after an hour. I have it on speaker (just in case they answer ?), so I can continue with what I need to do.

Sure am glad it’s not an emergency!!

The main thing I was upset about was my dentures. I left several messages telling you I was sick and bed ridden. That I would come get my dentures as the doctor told me I could get up. But when I came you had sent my dentures back and sent the money back to my insurance. When I had to order new dentures it cost me $1040.00 more. Which I have to pay the $1040.00 where the cost of my dentures went up. Last time I didn't have to pay anything it was all covered by my insurance. This makes it very difficult for me to pay. I have to have new dentures so I guess I'm stuck paying the extra.

I set a appointment for a basic cleaning. I wanted it to be Friday before Labor Day weekend. The only location available that day was Cullman (over a hour away from me). I get to the appointment, I told them I was there for a cleaning at the front desk. They take me back, do X-rays, the X-ray tech asked me why I was there. I said for a cleaning. After the X-rays they take me to a room. I was over an hour before I'm finally seen. They performed a gum check. Before the lady walked out I said, will I be getting a cleaning today? She said yes. Then I'm waiting in the room again for over 30 mins. The dr comes in to take a look for cavities and stuff. She said someone will be with me shorty once she finished. Again I asked her.. will I be getting a cleaning today. I thought it was abnormal I've been there over 2 hours now and no one has cleaned my teeth. She said yes. Then another lady comes and gets me and says follow me to the front desk. I said hold on I'm supposed to be getting a cleaning. She said we're going up front to go over some options. She says, you have early signs of gingivitis, you need this special cleaning that requires 2 visits and will be $200 after insurance. I said I just came in for a basic cleaning which my insurance covers twice a year. She said they would not do that because I needed the special deep gum cleaning. So the options she wanted to go over with me were.. get the deep cleaning and pay $200 or don't.. I told each person I dealt with that I was there for a cleaning . That's was it... Clean my teeth.. such a simple request.. Im glad they were being thorough but I should be able to decide what service I want not given some ultimatum.. the X-ray tech did a wonderful job though. Her service was awesome. Everyone else was very deceitful and wasted my time. It felt like they just wanted to charge me for something extra whether my insurance covered it or not.. My teeth are not bad at all. I got a second opinion and I do not have gingivitis.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Aspen Dental in Cullman! I broke a tooth Wednesday, my dentist doesn’t do extractions. I couldn’t see my oral surgeon till the 11th. The tooth was filled to the gum line due to being cracked, so it was scraping my tongue and causing major discomfort. So I called Aspen they could see me the next day. After an X-ray and consultation I was told it could be saved by building it up and placing a crown. That wasn’t too bad I’ve gotten crowns before, it was the root canals that were most expensive. However in the business office I was quoted 1800 for “possible” root canal and crown. Neither time had I paid that much for those procedures. So I opted for extraction, it was quicker and cheaper. So I was given a local anesthetic and assured I wouldn’t have any pain. Wow was that ever a lie!!! I felt a lot of pain and let them know it hurt. He would act concerned, do nothing, then continue. He had to hold my jaw with force as he was working my tooth out. Now once the tooth broke free I felt nothing but pressure. But through the whole process I felt sharp intense pain. After he was done he said the tooth was infected and gave no antibiotics. He said it would heal without them since the tooth was gone. His bedside manner was that of a mechanic, like I wasn’t human. I had to tell him multiple times the forceps were pinching my lip. The hygienist would let me gag on my blood and saliva before she offered suction. It was the absolute worst experience of my life. I usually have a considerable tolerance for pain, I’ve had two root canal’s that weren’t this painful.and as for the infection that was a lie, I just got back from urgent care, it is in fact infected. Im red, swollen and in pain, or I was. The MD prescribed antibiotics and nsaids to help with pain. He also gave very detailed and specific instructions on what to look for and how to treat it from here on out. I don’t even know who did the extraction. When my statement comes from the insurance I will Know. I plan on filing a complaint with the American Dental Association, as well as with my insurance provider.
