I’d like to share my personal experience with Armor Dentist. I chose this office based on positive reviews and their informative social media presence. Unfortunately, my in-person visit did not meet my expectations.

The Environment:
The office ambiance felt outdated and inconsistent. The furniture seemed old, the colors were bland (browns and greys), and the music shuffled from a song about God to a rap track, which added to my discomfort. Additionally, in the x-ray room, I noticed unused gadgets scattered on a table. A more intentional, inviting space could help alleviate the anxiety often associated with dental visits.

The X-Ray Experience:
During x-rays, I had difficulty biting down on the film sensor. The technician mentioned I had a small mouth but didn’t offer alternative equipment sizes, which I know other clinics provide. This led to multiple retakes, but the technician was kind and reassured me that she did her best with the tools available.

The Dentist Interaction:
The dentist suggested doing my dental cleaning during my next visit while I would be numb from a procedure. His reasoning made sense at the time, so I agreed. However, as I walked to the front desk to schedule, I noticed the dentist rushing to leave. He quickly asked if I had any other questions, and when I inquired about preventative care, he mentioned writing a prescription but didn’t hand me a Rx or provide info on where to pick it up.

When scheduling my follow-up, the receptionist worked with my availability and set a 5 PM appointment. The dentist, who was hovering nearby, pushed for an earlier time. I adjusted to 4:30 PM to accommodate him, but his body language suggested dissatisfaction, and he left shortly after.

My Impression:
The dentist seemed eager to leave during my visit, which made me feel like I wasn’t receiving his full attention or care. This left me uncomfortable scheduling a follow-up, as I worried the same rushed attitude might impact my procedure.

If late appointments are inconvenient for the dentist, I suggest the office adjust their hours. While it could have been an off day for the office, patients should feel valued and confident in the care they’re receiving.

Positives:
The receptionist clearly explained my insurance coverage.
There was no pressure to schedule a follow-up.
The dentist used my preferred name, which I appreciated.

Final Thoughts:
While I cannot comment on the dentist’s technical skills, my first impression was less than pleasant. I’m sharing this to provide transparency for others considering this office.

My experience with Dr Das was nothing short of excellent! I’ve had several horrible stories with past dentists from childhood and young adulthood and was very hesitant to get my dental work done. But I needed it done and knew he already was a trustworthy person with a great personality. His service and work is so excellent, I’d travel from another state just to get my dental work done by him! He truly is one of the best dentists I’ve ever experienced!

Since I been with Armor Family Dentistry I been having wonderful experience, the staff members are super friendly, and polite. They do on amazing job taking care all my dental needs. When I went there the first time, I had one of my front tooth missing. I felt sad, embarrassed to smile, but they took care of me, and gave me my smile back on the same day. Right now I'm in the process of on implant. Honestly I'm really impress with the way this Dental practice take care everything, and I'm so happy and thankful to have Dr. Sorabh as my personal, and family Dentist. He's very generous, knowledgeable, and great dentist. I Highly recommend !!!!!

I have been a patient at Armor Family Dentistry since April of 2021. I can easily say this is one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to. The staff is very nice. Dr. Das is an amazing dentist. Every treatment was explained in detail beforehand. He was very thorough with his work on my teeth. Every procedure was pretty much pain-free. This was huge for me since I had an experience in the past where I was not completely numb during a filling. I have already recommended everyone in my household to the office. I look forward to the continued care on my teeth from Armor Family Dentistry.

My husband and I are very happy with our new dentist, Dr. Das. He took extra time to explain each procedure and was extremely gentle. He is also taking extra precautions during the pandemic and only allows one patient in the office at a time. We highly recommend him as a dentist.

Found this group and am so happy I did.
The office is small and comfortable. The staff is beyond compare.
I have a huge phobia about dentist due to some bad experiences and the staff here was completely opposite of what I have been used to.
Very warm friendly people who took the time to actually talk and help me relax. The insurance nightmare was made easy. The procedure was done in no time. The Dr said he would be gentle and was. He talked me through every step of the way and I am going back for more work. Not only are they friendly they actually called the next day to check on me and make sure I'm doing ok. How often does that happen. NEVER. I am grateful my search led me to their door.

My husband and I have gone to Dr Das for a couple of years and have had great treatment. I took my 90 year old mother to him,he was so kind and patient with her. He adjusted her denture and actually walked her to the car and helped me load her with her wheel chair. My mother is now in love with my dentist.
