My experience at Alaska Periodontics and Implant surgery in Anchorage Alaska was absolutely amazing. I live on the Kenai Peninsula and they went above and beyond to accommodate me for my gum grafting procedure considering I live 3 hours away. Dr. Richard Hill is a superb dental surgeon, one of the best out there. We are extremely lucky to have a periodontist with his skill level up here serving the 49th state. He executed a rather difficult procedure flawlessly, it was smooth sailing from start to finish. I am extremely grateful he was able to save my tooth. Alaska Periodontics is a new practice in Anchorage. Dr. Hill quickly gained my confidence after my examination as we reviewed the treatment plan from my last visit. I am a 73-year-old man with a lot of "miles" on my teeth. I haven't been diligent about my flossing and have developed some pockets in my gums that would be best to attend to before they get any worse. Dr. Hill has the latest periodontal treatment equipment, allowing me to get a conventional deep cleaning with the bonus of laser treatment to help rapidly restore and heal my gums. I am grateful that the treatment I wanted is available and offered by Dr. Hill.

Dr. Hill is a consummate professional. I found him highly attuned to my comfort during my procedure. He has trained his office staff well, consistent with how he practices dentistry. I have always been nervous about having dental procedures done, but Dr. Hill gives a very clear expectation about what will be done, which is awesome! He has a great nurturing chair side manner which helps you relax. The office waiting room is lovely, and they even offer an espresso which shoes that they care about every detail to make you feel valued.
