I have been in need of dental implants for over a year, but after visiting multiple offices in the Mobile area I wasn’t sure who to choose. This completely changed when I found the Alabama Dental Implant Institute in Daphne! The experience with this office has been flawless since the first phone call. They have been extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs since the beginning of my dental implant journey. I am thankful that I found this place and cannot recommend them enough!!

My journey began with me randomly filling out a questionnaire online to determine if I would be a candidate for Dental Implants. My expectations were low because I was told by multiple dental surgeons that dentures were my only option due to severe bone loss. Then Suzanne who has this angelic voice with a southern accent called me on Christmas Eve to respond to the questionnaire I filled out. She convinced me to allow Dr. Eberle and Dr. Farrugia to review my case. A few days later I was sitting across from Dr. Eberle who introduced himself as Nathan and Dr. Farrugia and they both assured me that they could help. Three weeks later, I was getting dressed to head to the office for surgery when I got a call from Suzanne informing me that my surgery would need to be rescheduled because the anesthesia medication had not been delivered to do an ice storm. To say that I was upset would be an understatement. I came to the office and Dr. Farrugia met me in his office. After I unfairly unloaded my grievances on him, he smiled, shook my hand, and said, “Give me 2 hours”. 90 minutes later, my phone rang, and Suzanne informed me that Dr. Farrugia will be flying me down to Key West to their other location to have surgery and that he will be taking care of my flight, hotel, and transportation. Travel reservations arrived shortly and the next evening I was in Key West awaiting my surgery. Being in Key West by myself for the surgery, the Staff went above and beyond to treat me like royalty. Megan booked my hotel for me and met me there upon my arrival to ensure my check in went smoothly. I was then picked up at 6:50am by Dr. Farrugia (I would fight a polar bear in a phone booth for that man) and Megan from my hotel and taken to the dental office where Dr. Eberle was waiting, coffee in hand. Four hours later, I woke up to Anna (the most amazing nurse) holding my hand as I awoke from anesthesia. Dr. Farrugia with the help of Alvarez (he made my implants) transported me via golf cart back to my hotel where they literally tucked me into bed and made sure I took my medication that they had filled for me while I was in surgery. Three hours later they were back in my room to take me back to the office to have my temporary implants fitted. During the entire process, they communicated my progress with my family and eased all of their worries about me being alone and having surgery 600 miles from home. I could not have imagined a more seamless and fulfilling experience. I am so very thankful for all the staff, and doctors that went the extra mile to ensure my results were beyond my wildest expectations. The point of this review is that sometimes unexpected events happen, and in my case, Alabama Dental Implant Institute put me, the patient first, and took care of me like I was part of their family. It was truly a life-changing experience. Thanks to the talented doctors and caring staff, I am writing this review 4 days post-op eating muffins and drinking a smoothy with an amazing smile that I can proud of.
