Very good dental practice. The hygentists really know their craft. I produce a lot of plaque and need to have my teeth cleaned every 4 months. The hygienist help me keep my teeth and gums in good condition. At 80 years of age I have all my teeth with no periodontal disease. I haven't had a cavity in almost 60 years. I highly recommend this practice.

Friendly staff. Casual, welcoming office (this is a good thing). They did a great job on my sleep apnea oral medical device-- it's like an upper and a lower mouth guard. Very high quality. I like Aesthetic Dentistry as my regular dentist too.

Dr Abelar is an amazing Dentist also- when he cared for me in the past. Dr Hasso dispelled all my fears & i'm very confident with her treatment plan compared to the previous place I went in Clairemont. ( I sure wish I could have seen her instead! Soo thankful for an honest Dentists with compassion and integrity! No longer leary to go back to the dentist. A big sigh of relief & hallelujah as well! What a breath of fresh air!

Okay- I went back to get my treatment plan taken care of & everything went really well & everything is better than when I first walked in the door! She repaired my tooth & fixed my fillings & restored my smile when the other Dentist was going to do a crown & other things that didn't need to be done ~ Imagine that! I'm very impressed with her craftsmanship & work & have already recommended my coworker to her & would recommend anyone to go to her. It's amazing how much she accomplished in a relatively short period of time,
i'm very thankful!!! & happy with her work. I did not have an crazy bills either ~ this practice does not price gouge ( like the practice in Clairemont). I have a good dental plan through my job that covers 60% which i'm told is really good. It's so nice to be told that I didn't need what the other practice said that I did ~ infuriating! Dr Hasso & Dr Abelar only do what needs to be done. I owe them both a world of gratitude!

This was my first visit. Cleaning, xrays, re glue a crown. I will post another review after they fill a cavity beneath an existing crown next month. Thus far it seems Dr Avelar and his staff work very efficiently and well together and I was very satisfied with the service I got.
In the past I have had two other dentists, one Florida one Solana beach, show me what the charges would be before the service was performed and how much would be covered by Cigna. Asthetic sends in the insurance forms for me and I pay the full amount now and wait on an insurance check, but the dollar coverage remains a guess.
I changed my review from a 5 to a 3 and will not return because of how they mis- handled my insurance. Today is Nov 21 and Cigna told me they will not mail the $253 check for my $696 cleaning, xrays, and crown reglue until Nov 28th. Upon leaving Oct 15 Charlene said she expected my insurance coverage to be about 90%. Instead it was 36% in spite of my plan covering 60% of most procedures. Charlene also said they were changing billing companies because their current company held my claim for over two weeks doing nothing until I phoned Aesthetic dentistry asking where my check was.

Absolutely love my hygienist. Office staff is fantastic and friendly. The only reason I didn't make it a 5 star is because it never fails... I always get charged out of pocket cost. I have one of the best insurance company but they alway end up telling me that something wasn't covered after they done the work. I have received quotes prior and it will show zero cost but it never is. I realize it is a quote but I wish it was closer to the correct amount that I would owe.

I can't thank Dr. Abelar and Sleep Director Thomas enough in helping replace my old oral device for sleep apnea! Right from the beginning, Sleep Director Thomas was extremely friendly and helpful in setting up for Home Sleep Study and initial appointment. He initiated research on the manufacturer of my old oral device and worked closely with Dr. Abelar to find the best oral device options for me. After much thought and research, Dr. Abelar decided to fabricate a custom ProSomnus EVO oral airway for me. Office manager Debbie was highly efficient and helpful with my appointments and insurance coverage. During my initial visit, Dr. Abelar took time to understand details of my sleep apnea, reviewed the results of my Sleep Study, and discussed the best options for my new oral device. Then everything went very smoothly, from imaging to taking molds to completion.The new oral device fit so well that it did Not require Any adjustment at all-- I was utterly amazed! Talk about "Precision"! Thanks to Dr. Abelar's custom-made oral device, my sleep apnea and sleep quality have been greatly improved, and now I wake up every morning feeling refreshed and fully-recharged! I highly recommend Dr. Abelar to anyone looking for top-notch dental care. 5-Star is Not Enough!
