Paperwork was at the desk (because I'd called that morning to learn whether the orders were in). Pause in waiting area wasn't at all bad, professional who too the images was quick & competent. If anything, while this was a "walk in anytime" kind of appointment, an email notification that the orders were there & all was ready would have been helpful. In my view, if I hadn't called to make sure of this then there would have been an even chance that they had NOT, and my trip would have been a waste.

I was seriously impressed with my recent visit. I had a radiology appointment (ct scan) and was in and out in record time. All of the people I interacted with were friendly and professional. I cannot say enough great things about this place.

My technician was awesome and I had great service. However, no one told me how much my procedure would cost (with insurance) and that was sticker shock to say the least. $900 nearly, as an unexpected expense. This is why I don't like Adventist Heath. They are much too expensive.

Aside from a difficult time communicating with the reception staff upon arrival, my experience here was surprisingly pleasant (as pleasant as an emergency room visit can be 😁). The nurses were efficient, attentive, and informative. I was treated and on my way home within 2 - 3 hours, which if you've been to an emergency room, you know- this turnaround time is unheard of. I would definitely recommend, however I'd much rather there be no reason to have to!

Checked me in and brought me in pretty soon. I didn’t have to wait that long even though the emergency room is pretty full. Overall the nurses and staff were wonderful very caring. Very nice very professional. My experience overall was amazing. I was in a lot of pain. They gave me the meds I needed and wrapped it up. I was in there for about an hour and a half which isn’t that bad cause they had to wait for my results so overall, I would say a good experience.

Coming from experiencing southern California large hospitals I did not know what to expect from a much smaller hospital. The nursing staff of Clear Lake is the very best. I received great care from very professional nurses.
Nurses are the front line and Clear Lake Nurses project that Clear Lake is a superior hospital.
Please compliment the dietician and kitchen staff. I have had hospital food and expected the same. I was so surprised, the food was very good.

I work for Adventist, and I know that communication across multiple sites and disciplines is difficult. That said, this was a ridiculously frustrating experience that stemmed from very poor communication.
I had to wait 3 months for an appointment to receive equipment for a sleep study. I was sent two hours away from my local hospital to another Adventist facility to retrieve a device that weighs 2oz, came with no instructions and was given to me by a very nice and helpful receptionist. The address I was sent to does not exist. I picked the closest address I could find. The nice help desk lady sent me across campus to the pulmonologist office. They, very kindly, walked me to the correct building. From there I had a choice between the lab or surgery reception desks, no idea which to use. Glad I chose the lab side, surgery reception seemed overwhelmed and were not very positive. This equipment dispensing did not require an appointment. The truly wonderful lady who helped me didn’t have any information on instructions either. She said I should have received instructions by email. A full search of my inbox, junk and deleted folders yielded no such email. The piece of paper the device came with had a phone number to call which does not accept incoming calls. I sat outside the building on a bench playing phone tag until I found a human in the Clearlake sleep clinic who could help me. They said they would resend the instruction email, which still did not arrive. It was finally determined that a typo in my email address was sending the email to the wrong address. Then I drove home.
I give two stars instead of one because the actual people I dealt with at the Ukiah facility were, aside from the beleaguered surgery reception, all kind, professional and helpful. But this process is beyond broken and could very easily have been done either by mail or at my local Adventist facility.

I am horrible with names but......The woman who did the blood draw was absolutely amazing! I went to the outpatient lab in lakeport ca . I have never had such a good experience being I am a very difficult patient to draw from! She was patient and professional and made the experience a breeze ! Thank you very much
