From the minute i walked in the door I felt welcomed and very comfortable. I didn’t wait 5 minutes before we were doing x-rays and immediately after they were done the painless deep cleaning started. Notice I said painless! I have to say I was impressed by how technologically advanced they are. They have become my permanent dentist and I highly recommend them.

I waited to review until a number of appointments. Dr. Marino and her staff are amazing. They are compassionate and very skilled. She and her staff were patient with me when I was anxious. All diagnosis are discussed thoroughly, along with real time images so you know they’re being honest. Dr. Marino fixed some poor dental work from the past and took care of current necessary treatments. I feel like a new person. Everything is perfect!

Again, another new dental hygienist for today's appointment; x-rays and cleaning. After getting situated in the chair the hygienist sits in her chair behind me to go over any medication changes. I can't see her, nor can I hear her very well as the tv is on very loud. I asked her to turn the tv down. The third time, she turned it down a little. Still, a lot of noise in the hallway. I have a lot of medications. I could tell she was irritated. I asked her to please turn the tv off. She drops the x-ray blanket over me from mid-air. Not a good thing! I asked if she had the x-ray cover for the thyroid. She said "Yes". And aggressively wrapped it around my neck. Then, redid it so it was tighter. No reason for the tight wrap! I understand that bite-wing x-rays are uncomfortable, but I am sure she had no idea what she was doing. I feel I was treated badly. The ultrasonic cleaner was next. The water was spraying all over my face and shirt. The paper bib was soaked. I asked if I could have a new one. She told me the back side is plastic, and the water won't sink through. She would clean it up when she was done! At one point there was so much water I nearly choked and had to stop till I caught my breath. I said she was getting a little rough and maybe we could slow down. She did a little scraping and polishing. She did not polish all of my teeth. Flossing was very difficult for her. I truly don't feel I had a good cleaning or was treated with respect. I have been a patient at Family Dental at Lakeside Village for several years. I very much like Dr. Marino. This experience was very disappointing.

Lakeside did what I wanted, which was a standard 6 month cleaning, unlike Imperial Lakes, which has refused to do my cleanings for the last year +, Supposedly because I needed deep cleaning and multiple antibiotic injections. My gums and teeth are not perfect but did not need all the extra work that Imperial Lakes insisted I needed done.
Thank you Lakeside for doing the cleaning and THEN suggesting I have one small procedure which i absolutely agree i need. I REALLY appreciated my dental hygienist and Dr. doing their job, without pressuring for extra work.

Everyone is so nice they make you feel very comfortable. They care a lot about their patients. Dr Moreno is the best Ashley Melissa Jackie they're all great there

Dr. Marino and her staff are awesome from the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave. Also, Melissa at the front desk knows what she is doing, from referrals to billing, she rocks!!!
