I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Ebeid and his assistant Maricela for a root canal treatment and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience.
As a dentist myself, I have a deep appreciation for the precision and skill required for a successful root canal treatment , and Dr. Ebeid exceeded all expectations.
I would highly recommend Dr. Ebeid and his lovely staff to any colleague or patient in need of endodontic care. They are a true professional and a master of their craft. He is so gentle and caring and I couldn't be more impressed with the outcome. I'm genuinely grateful for the exceptional care I received.

I had a very disappointing experience with this endodontist. While the staff were decent, the assistants felt impersonal and robotic. The doctor was polite initially, but when it came to the procedure, he disregarded my severe anxiety despite my request for sedation. He assured me it wouldn’t be painful, missing the point that it wasn’t about pain but managing my anxiety. Throughout the procedure, he didn’t communicate what was happening, which added to my distress. Additionally, he seemed frustrated with his assistants, making the environment even more uncomfortable. To top it off, the front desk staff struggled to explain costs and didn’t provide an itemized receipt. They also charged $295 for an unnecessary X-ray that insurance wouldn’t cover. Overall, I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience.

I recently visited Dr. Sameer M. Ebeid, in San Rafael. Prior to the procedure, I was explicitly informed by the secretary that my total out-of-pocket cost would be $594, which included my insurance coverage. However, I was subsequently sent a bill for an additional $760, an amount that was never communicated to me beforehand. It appears that the clinic waits for insurance to process payments before determining the final amount owed, a crucial detail that was not disclosed during my visit. This lack of transparency is disappointing and unprofessional. Had I been properly informed of the full potential cost, I would have reconsidered proceeding with the treatment. This experience has left me highly dissatisfied, and I cannot recommend this practice based on these concerns. Go somewhere else!

Run the other way ! I wasted 4000 ! So my dentist recommended Ebeid Said I might need a root canal . I know nothing about dentistry he said to get it Took his advice and it failed after 17 months
I had problems with it about six months after he did grind my tooth down For free and told me my Dentist should’ve done this then I wanted to go back And his office manager would not waive the $300 for the x-rays she said it wasn’t covered by insurance So now I’m out 4000 including the crown

Wow!! I am So Impressed with Dr. Ebeid and his staff!!
First off he is a kind and gentle soul!
He allays your fears and makes you feel at ease with his chair side manner.
He’s also been a leader in utilizing the latest in technology, years ahead of the mainstream.
Dr. Ebeid was one of the first in Marin to utilize 3D imaging to guide his work to perfection!
On top of that he has the skill and the patience to do the most amazing job, and he is very gentle, as well!
I appreciate all this, because I am in the business. I am a hygienist, and I know amazing work and teamwork when I experience it!

I spoke with Isabelle, Dr. Ebeid’s front desk coordinator, and explained my situation.
She got me right in.
His other long time front desk staff, Pat, was there to greet me on my first visit, and she helped me get thru the paperwork and questions.
Wynona, his assistant of 20+ years was so eloquent in making my experience comfortable and assisting Dr. Ebaid to do his best work!!
They barely uttered a word, and yet she knew .... Exactly what he needed!
It was an eloquent dance!!!
Marisol, Dr.’s other assistant of over 20 years, who backed both Doctor Ebeid and Wynona up....hats off to her, as well!?
Together they make a Great team!
It speaks volumes when staff stays on for so many years!
Such a great experience if you need a root canal. I Highly recommend Dr. Ebeid!

Terrible experience. This dentist was unprofessional, condescending, and had the gall to try to bill me for his dreadful services. Dr. Ebeid was dismissive of my concerns, did not properly communicate treatment options, and ultimately withheld treatment (after numbing half my face). His lack of empathy was evident. Overall, I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for competent and caring dental care. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and low-quality treatment make this dentist a regrettable choice for dental care.

The staff and Dr are great, no problems with the work/quality of the procedure. However, they have a 3D X-ray machine that you have to come in for prior to doing any work. These X-rays weren’t covered by my insurance (probably aren’t under most) and I had to pay out of pocket almost $400 for them.

I had to get another root canal recently. I decided to go to another endo as they didn’t have any appointments for over a month. The Dr was able to do the procedure without these specialized X-rays! And was able to get me in within a week and only having to go in once. Saving me almost $400 plus the time and gas on coming to the office for an extra appointment that I now know is completely unnecessary and feels like a rip off. I will not be coming back to this office unfortunately. I almost spent an additional $800 on X-rays on top of the costly root canal treatments! As a someone who can barely afford the treatment to begin with, that’s a lot of money!

I am a general dentist in private practice for over 20 years. Not only do I refer all my patients to Dr. Ebeid, I myself had two root canals performed by Dr. Ebeid. I can say without a doubt that Dr. Ebeid is a highly skilled top notch root canal specialist and a leader in his profession. I also have to mention that I am a huge baby in the chair and I felt zero discomfort during my procedure. Dr. Ebeid’s staff is top notch and I feel very fortunate to know first hand how excellent his work is. You are in great hands with this Doctor and his team.
